Kigali - Upon arrival at the airport, the company’s driver guide will greet you and escort you to your pre-booked accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, there may be an opportunity to enjoy a city tour of Kigali.

Transfer to Nyungwe Forest N/P - Afternoon Canopy Walk

Nyungwe Forest National Park - After an early breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and begin your journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park, home to numerous bird species and chimpanzees in Rwanda. You will enjoy a meal en route. Upon arrival, you will participate in the afternoon canopy walk, offering a stunning view of the forest and the chance to observe a variety of bird species. Later, you will check into your lodge for refreshments before dinner is served.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Volcanoes N/P

Volcanoes National Park - Following breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and proceed to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking, where you will receive a briefing on the activity. You will then embark on the tracking, and once the chimps are located, you will have one hour to take photos and videos.

You will have lunch en route and then continue to Volcanoes N/P. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for refreshments before dinner.

Mount Bisoke Hike and Transfer to Bwindi Forest N/P

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - In the morning, you will embark on the Mount Bisoke hike, accompanied by a professional guide who will lead you through the trails. After the hike, you will cross the border into Uganda and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to over half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. You will check into your lodge for refreshments before dinner.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park - After an early breakfast, the guide will take you to the briefing point for your gorilla trekking sector. You will receive guidelines for the trek before heading into the forest to locate the gorillas. Once found, you will have one hour to take photos and videos before leaving the forest. You will then begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in and enjoy some refreshments.

Walking Safari and Transfer to the Airport

Entebbe - After breakfast, you will embark on a walking safari in the park, accompanied by an armed game ranger who will guide you along the paths, allowing you to get close to animals such as zebras, giraffes, and kobs. Later, the driver-guide will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your flight, passing through Kampala city if time permits.
