Kigali - Guests will be collected from their hotel or the airport to begin their journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling through Musanze to Kisoro. The trip offers numerous picturesque views, with rolling mountains and hills that are perfect for photography. Stops at scenic viewpoints are encouraged for photos and other experiences. Upon arrival at the park, guests will check in at their lodge, relax for the evening, and prepare for the gorilla trek the following day.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - An early morning breakfast is followed by a briefing at the park headquarters on the guidelines for gorilla trekking. Rangers will guide the search for mountain gorillas, allowing guests to appreciate the park’s diverse flora and fauna and spend quality time with these magnificent creatures. After the encounter with the gentle giants, guests will return to the lodge for a quick late lunch. If time permits, they can relax at the lodge or visit the local Batwa community.
Return to Kigali International Airport
Kigali - After an early breakfast, guests will drive to Kigali International Airport. A stop at Lake Mutanda will offer scenic views and the opportunity to explore the lake’s islands, enjoying the beautiful scenery and birdlife. The guide will then drop guests off at their hotel or the airport for their flight.
