Journey from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga Sector)
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - The driver-guide will meet the group in Kigali for a briefing about the trip and lunch. The journey from Kigali to Bwindi will commence, offering picturesque views of Rwanda’s rolling hills before crossing into Uganda at the Cyanika Border. Border Formalities: Complete immigration procedures at Cyanika.
Upon arrival at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, guests will check-in, refresh, and enjoy dinner while taking in the tranquil forest surroundings.
Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - A hearty breakfast at the camp will prepare everyone for the day’s adventure.
Trek briefing: Participants will gather at the Rushaga trekking point for an orientation by the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides.
Gorilla trekking experience: A guided trek through Bwindi’s lush forest will lead to a habituated gorilla family. Up to one hour will be spent observing these magnificent creatures in their natural environment.
Return to the camp: Relax and savor a delicious lunch.
Optional activities:
Community walks to explore the local Batwa culture.
Relaxation at the camp while enjoying the forest views.
Dinner will be served at the camp, where stories of the trek can be shared with fellow travelers around the campfire.
Return Journey to Kigali
Kigali - Breakfast at the camp will be accompanied by forest views.
The group will depart Bwindi and drive back to Kigali, with opportunities to enjoy stunning landscapes and take photos along the way.
In the afternoon, arrival in Kigali is expected.
Guests will be dropped off at their chosen location (airport or hotel).
