MOROGORO TO UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK

On the morning of this day, you will be collected from your hotel in Morogoro and driven to the Udzungwa Mountains. After registration, you will begin your ascent via the Sanje route to witness the four-tiered waterfalls. Udzungwa is recognized as one of the thirty-four World Biodiversity hotspots. You can anticipate encountering primates. Udzungwa is home to 11 primate species, two of which are unique to this area: the Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and the Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). Additionally, you might have the chance to observe habituated Sanje Mangabeys, various endemic plant species, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and waterfalls.

After completing this tour, you will return to Mikumi village and stay overnight at the Tan-Swiss Hotel, preparing for a game drive the following day.

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Morogoro and driven to the Udzungwa Mountains. Mikumi National Park - In the morning, after breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Commonly sighted animals include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Packs of wild dogs can also be observed here. The expansive horizons and rich wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centerpiece of Mikumi, often draw comparisons to the renowned Serengeti Plains.

After the game drive, you will return to Morogoro town, and upon arrival, you will be taken to your residence, hotel, or the airport, marking the conclusion of your 2-day trip with SAFARIS PARTNERS.
