Friday, November 27, 2026: Vigil Mass of the 45th Anniversary of Our Lady of Kibeho

Kibeho - At 7 a.m., a professional driver-guide will meet the group at their hotel or the airport. The driver will be in the arrivals hall holding a sign that reads “ATTRACTIVE SAFARIS.” After a warm welcome and an overview of the pilgrimage itinerary, the group will be driven directly to Kibeho.
In the morning, the group will be greeted at their hotel or the airport, receive a briefing on the pilgrimage program, and then be transferred directly to Kibeho.
After lunch, subject to confirmation, there will be an opportunity to meet and converse with the Father Shrine Rector or the visionary (Nathalie Mukamazimpaka).
Participants will then join the Solemn Vigil at the Feast of the Mother of the Word in Kibeho:
4:30 p.m.: Vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Marian Feast at the apparition site in Kibeho
6:00 p.m.: Torchlight procession with the statue of Our Lady of Kibeho.
8:00 p.m.: Guest lecture - Sacrament of Reconciliation - Rosary - Marian vigil of prayer
Afterwards, return to the hotel for dinner (9:00 p.m.)

Saturday, November 28, 2026: Solemn Mass of the 45th Anniversary of Our Lady of Kibeho

Kibeho - After breakfast, from 8:00-9:00 a.m., explore the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, pray at the apparition site, and visit the Chapel of Adoration.
9:00 a.m.: Sacrament of Reconciliation
10:00 a.m.: Rosary of the Seven Sorrows
11:00 a.m.: Solemn Mass on the esplanade of the Shrine
Following Mass, enjoy lunch at the accommodation.
After lunch, visit CANA: Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers in Kibeho-Nyarushishi, located 2 km from Kibeho Sanctuary, and engage in prayer while admiring the statue of Divine Mercy. Since 2004, a giant bronze statue of the Merciful Jesus, weighing 2 tons and standing 16 feet tall, has been situated in Nyarushishi at the Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. This statue has a fascinating story to uncover. Since then, visiting Nyarushishi has become essential for pilgrims traveling to Kibeho.

Sunday, November 29, 2026: Experience Rwandan culture and history

Kigali - After breakfast, the group will travel back to Kigali. En route, they will visit the ethnographic Museum of Butare. This museum is considered one of Africa’s finest ethnographic collections, featuring artistic and cultural artifacts with visual aids that provide visitors with a deep understanding of Rwandan culture.

After lunch in Butare town, the group will proceed to Nyanza to visit Rukari King’s palace, learning more about the diversity of Rwandan culture and historical lifestyles. Afterwards, they will continue to Kigali.
