Great experience and crew - Great crew, nice boat, plenty of water. We really enjoyed our trip
I would recommend this company with the understanding that there lunch is okay at best
If food is important there are better choices if not this was a great experience

Exceptional day trip! - Exceptional day from start to finish. The team were fantastic, very informative, accommodating and had a great sense of humour. We absolutely loved the itinerary especially the canoe through the mangroves and caves. We are so glad we chose this company.

Brilliant day out! - This tour packed loads into one day and and was a lot of fun - incl: snorkelling, a canoe ride, walking through a cave to the island interior at low tide, nice lunch on Koh Panyee and of course Khao Phing Kan.
The speedboat didn't shilly-shally with all 750bhp at full revs most of the time.
Excellent crew and some good company.
It was a long day - 14 hour round trip from Khao Lak - but for us well worth it.

Khai Islands fast boat tour - We really enjoyed this tour. Yes it is a long day with a 2 hour drive from Khao Lak to Puket marina. However we were prepared for this and either enjoyed the scenery or had a nap. The mini bus was very comfortable and only 6 of us onboard so not crowded. A bit chaotic when we arrived at the marina but we were soon delighted to find out that most of the crowd was going on the Phi Phi islands tour and only a small group on our James Bond tour. We had plenty of room on the boat, cold drinks supplied all day and crew very helpful when we were getting on and off the boat. There was a bit of a swell at the swimming/snorkelling spot but that is Mother Nature and moving further around we found a more sheltered place to swim and snorkel.
There was highlight of the tour was visiting a number of the mangrove and cave areas, first at low tide by walking through the cave. What an experience. Second was the amazing kayak experience through the caves. You sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery while locals kayak you through the cave and mangrove areas. Lunch was included and delicious, plenty of food and with a spectacular view.
The other 4 people on the bus transfer did the other tour and when we compared notes on the return trip, unfortunately their tour was not as good as ours. Be prepared for a long day, make sure your following day is a relax/rest day and enjoy this fantastic tour. Highly recommend.

Excellent day….but long, think twice if travelling from Khao Lak - This experience was great. We could not fault the activities or the tour guides.
As with every trip we have taken the scenery is absolutely stunning and all the people you meet are so welcoming.
Our only gripe is the transportation. Be aware that if you are travelling from khao lak area you need to add approximately 2.5 - 3 hours in each direction onto the trip.
We wish we had understood this as it was an extremely long day especially as so much of it was crammed in a tight minibus with limited legroom.
Our driver was doing 110kms in 80kms zone but he probably would not have kept to schedule if he didn’t. Luckily there were no incidents but you are in their hands after all you have no control over what could happen. The transportation centre was also a bit manic, maybe just organised chaos of a normal day for them, we got home in one piece that is the main thing!
I would definitely recommend the tour but personally only if I was staying in the Phuket area.

Sea Star provided golden guns for photos which was a nice touch... - We were picked up from our hotel & taken by bus to the Sea Star pier in Phuket taking just under 2 hours from KhaoLak. We were checked in & given a light breakfast. Cherry "Darling" was our guide for the day on the rather uncomfortable Sea Star no. 2 speedboat....very little room to get in and out of the seats. Our first stop was a 25 minute snorkelling stop followed by a trip to the "ice cream" cave. James Bond island came next where the staff had two golden guns to take photos with which was a nice touch. We then had a lovely Thai lunch on Panyee Island but unfortunatelu not for long enough to have a wander around the island. The excursion finished with escorted kayaking and a swim. All in all a great day out.

A great trip anytime again - Pick up was smooth, drive to the offshoot took 2 hours from khao lak.
Once at the branch we were assigned to our tours there were snacks and drinks available. There was a brief introduction to the day, then we went on the boat. Our team was great. Nina was great as a tour guide.
First stop was for snorkeling and swimming off the island. There was snorkeling equipment on board. Then we went to the first island. Absolutely nice there except for the intrusive offers. Here again there were snacks and drinks incl.
We were able to explore the island and bathe.
Next stop an uninhabited island where we visited a cave. Absolutely great.
Then we went to lunch. This was also very delicious and varied in buffet form.
Then to James Bond Island. There we were able to take pictures and look at everything.
Last stop Hong Island where we canoeed.
It was a dreamlike day even if the weather was not so good at the end.
Everyone was super friendly. There were always drinks and snacks on board.
Anytime again.
One point deduction for the volume on board when driving, the engines were extremely loud.

Poor transfer and boat too full - We booked 7 different trip with Viator during our holiday to Thailand - All of which were excellent but the James Bond Island trip was a let down. Let me be clear the tour guide and boat crew were great. But problems started with the pick up - Our mini bus arrived at our Hotel on time and the pick up list included us and two others - all were on the mini bus. We set off and left Khao Lak, a few miles outside Khao Lak the bus driver received a call and turned around and headed back to Khao Lak for further pick ups. This made him late which resulted in a dangerously fast drive?
The second big issue was the number on the boat - I enquired before booking and was told the maximum number would be 15 - there were over 30 on our boat which made it very uncomfortable.
Overall very disappointed with the organisation of this trip. Look forward to a response
