Cheap but worthwhile trip - There was no commentary but the booklet that came with the tickets was excellent so we could identify the various sights The round trip lasted around 90 minutes An incredible bargain

Chao River tourist boat - Great way to explore the city, see Iconsiam very affordable and easy to use plus it keeps you out of the traffic so great during peak time

Bangkok view from the river - Very interesting to discover the city seen from the river. A good experience to do with family or even alone. You can even leave in the afternoon, there are always things to do.

See the landmarks directly on a river boat - The cruise experience is well worth it. A fast way to travel to Icon Siam and Asiatique. I did find the frequency in the afternoon much more faster than at night. I also wished the staff could be more friendly. Afterall we are visitors to the country. They were often very hurried and rude. Never smiled. A side note to tourists. Pls sit properly on the benches on the top deck. And not sit on the back rest and dirtying the actual seats. I know the objective is a better view but this is inconsiderate for the next seat user.

Comfortable - The CTB Unlimited Hop CHAO PHRAYA RIVER: The All River River Pass is a convenient Service to move quickly between distant points of Bangkok avoiding traffic and protecting yourself from the hellish heat of the City. We used it to get to Wat Arun, and both outward and return runs were on time.

Go local - This hop-on, hop-off boat offers absolutely no commentary as you cruise up and down the river, so don’t expect to learn anything unless you enjoy squinting at the tiny booklet included with your ticket. There aren’t many stops, but it does whisk you past most of the major sights quickly enough. Even in peak season the boat was nowhere near full, which probably means most people had the good sense to take the local boat instead.

Pigs are treated better! - I think pigs are treated better by the pier-personel! They ask you every other minute for your ticket ( same person!!) andshout at you if you say he/she could be a little more friendly. And ooh!!!: watch out if they see you’re having alcohol in a plastic bag: they even chase you on the upper deck shouting you’re not allowed to drink on board. Point: they shouted that already three times ( on the peer and at the entrance) and every time I said: clear! Won’t do. My company would have no guests, if me and my personnel would treat our guest like that!

Unpleasant and Uneducated Employee - We asked to make the pass of the day and we were sold a simple ticket, when an employee came in a very unpleasant tone to ask us for the ticket and told us only that we had to pay more in her language fast and without letting us speak, we asked her to speak slowly but there was no way she was yelling at us all the time, very unpleasant the treatment received, the trip would be worth it if they explain well how it works, and if you are wrong and are willing to pay they do not leave you in evidence

Emergency Evacuation, Excessive Wait Time, and Refund Refusal - Chao Phraya Tourist Boat at ICONSIAM - AVOID THIS SERVICE! One my first stop our paid journey, we were suddenly forced off the boat due to an unexplained "emergency" and then abandoned on an exposed pier for 30 minutes under Bangkok's scorching sun with no shade or water - dangerous for elderly passengers and families with children. When I asked for a refund since we didn't receive the full service, they flat-out refused. Poor emergency procedures, zero customer service, health risks from heat exposure, and additional taxi costs to reach our destinations. Use regular public boats instead - much better value and reliability!
