- Thonburi - For this tour, participants will need to make their way to the meeting point at Krung Thonburi BTS Station. Here, they will meet the guide, who will introduce the tour before everyone hops into their tuk-tuk (2 or 3 people per tuk-tuk).
Krung Thonburi is the first station when crossing the river to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Thonburi offers a more local atmosphere, and the tour will explore both local life and history on this side of the river before heading to the historic area of Rattanakosin.
- Wongwian Yai area - There will be a stop at a local street food market to sample a variety of snacks and learn about the local lifestyle and culture.
- Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan - This is an alternative stop to Wat Arun Temple due to its temporary closure for renovations.
Wat Prayoon Temple, a recipient of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Conservation Award of Excellence in 2013, boasts a rich history. Built during the reign of King Rama III, this temple is approximately 200 years old. It features a stunning white stupa visible from miles away due to its large size, making it a perfect alternative to Wat Arun Temple.
- Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market) - Participants will take a walk through the famous Bangkok Flower Market, which operates 24 hours a day and is especially vibrant at night.
- Bangkok - There will be a stop at a local restaurant for dinner. The restaurant choice may vary to best accommodate the group.
- Rattanakosin (Bangkok Old City) - The tour will cross back over the river to explore the historic area of Rattanakosin, home to many of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks.
- The Grand Palace - The tour will pass by The Grand Palace, which, although closed in the evening, provides a great photo opportunity with its illuminated backdrop.
- Wat Phra Chetuphon - This stop is currently suspended as Wat Pho is closed at night. Once it reopens, the tour will include this stop again. In the meantime, Wat Arun will be visited instead.
- Giant Swing - The Giant Swing is one of Bangkok’s key landmarks, and there will be a brief stop to learn about its history.
- Chinatown - Bangkok - The final stop will be in Chinatown. At night, Chinatown comes alive with street food vendors, and the tour will conclude with dessert.

This is a cultural tour that combines sightseeing with dining at a local restaurant.
Please do not confuse this tour with our “Bangkok Evening Street Food Tuk Tuk Adventure,” which is more focused on street food experiences.
During this 4-hour tour, participants will:
• Zip around Bangkok in a tuk tuk
• Visit The Flower Market, the grounds of Wat Prayoon, and Chinatown
• Explore the historic areas of Bangkok and view famous temples and landmarks beautifully lit at night
• Enjoy snacks, dinner, and dessert!
This tour is offered in two options:
• Small group join-in tour with a maximum of 12 guests (available daily)
• Private Tour for individual groups (ideal for families with young children).
- We meet at a BTS (Skytrain) Station as traffic in the evening can be bad. Strongly encourage guests to take the Skytrain / Public Transport to our meeting point
- Please Note: Temples buildings are usually closed at night but the atmosphere in the grounds are special.
- Some walking is involved through markets and around temples
- This tour is suitable for vegetarians. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- This is an alcohol free tour and please be aware that it is illegal to drink in the tuk tuk. We reserve the right to stop the tour if there is drunken behaviour. We do provide soft drinks throughout the tour.
- Minimum age of 10 years old for small group tour option. Children are allowed on private tours but must buy a ticket if over 5.: This is an evening cultural tour and will finish about 11pm so it is not advisable for young children.
- If it rains it is more fun: We run the tour throughout the year and have never had to cancel a tour due to rain. If it rain we have ponchos, rain covers and umbrellas. You may get a little wet but if you bring a positive attitude you may discover it is even more memorable:
- Changes to itinerary: The restaurants and food stores we eat at may vary from day to day depending on what’s open.
- There are 2 people per tuk tuk. If you book as 3 or 5 people you may have 3 people in 1 tuk tuk. If you book as an individual you may share with another guest.
- For join-in tour option: This is a small group tour limited to 10 people per group.
- Due to COVID this tour has not been run regularly and will be constantly reviewed to ensure the best experience. Wat Pho is currently closed at night and has been changed to Wat Arun. It is possible they will switch back.
- Not recommended for travelers with walking difficulties

The guide will wait at the top of the stairs (ticket office level) before going to road level. If coming by BTS first exit through ticket gate. Guide will be wearing a polo shirt with an "Expique" logo

Not to be missed! - Do not miss this! It was a really wonderful, relaxed evening and a fantastic way to see some of the interesting sights of Bangkok. The city is very, very pretty at night.
Jib was our guide and was just brilliant, and very funny. She was really keen to make sure we had a great evening, was very knowledgeable, and full of interesting facts and information as to all things Bangkok. A fantastic guide.
The tuk tuk drivers were all lovely too - very polite and keen to help. It was all very well organised.
Our driver was Mr Thongpoon who was brilliant as well - we were very well taken care of with lots of cold water bottles and kindness!
We had a lovely (and very large!) dinner by the river. A selection of food which was never ending - we had tons left over as they brought out so much. Despite it being extremely delicious, it is only possible to eat so much.
Topped off by mango and sticky rice in Chinatown - what’s not to love?!
I had booked this as a last minute thing to do the evening before leaving as I wanted to do something but nothing too intensive or lengthy.
So glad I did. It worked perfectly. It was a brilliant, super enjoyable evening, I think everyone in the group had a great time, and we had a really lovely small group of people too.
Don’t miss this if food, interesting facts and a relaxing trip being tuk tuk’d around Bangkok sounds like your thing.
I highly recommend. 5 stars all round.

Fabulous tour of Bangkok! - What a wonderful evening tour with Jib and her lovely tuk tuk driver! We loved every minute of it - driving through the streets of Bangkok and seeing so many beautifully illuminated buildings and temples, walking through the food and flower markets, visiting the Buddhist temple and grounds at Wat Prayurawongsawas, eating the most delicious Pad Thai for dinner and finally dessert in Chinatown. Jib spoke great English, was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. She selected various snacks in the street food market for us and even gave us flowers at the end of our tour. Cold water was provided in the tuk tuk too. I cannot recommend this tour, or Jib, highly enough. We chose to do a private tour, which worked well for us and was worth every penny of the cost. Thank you so much, Jib, and Expique.

Tuk Tuk evening experience not to be missed - Fantastic evening tour in Tuk Tuk with Yazz and his team of Tuk Tuk drivers. Visited temple, very interesting and Yazz very knowledgeable. Delicious food in market and Chinatown, as well as Pad Thai meal. Experience on Tuk Tuk exhilarating visiting Grand Palace and other sites in Bangkok. Would highly recommend. Lovely memories especially the Tuk Tuk drivers singing the original name of Bangkok.

Excellent Street Tour of Bangkok - This was a great way to see Bangkok at night. The drivers were excellent, and Mr. Tony (the guide) did a great job of showing us around the city. I was particularly impressed that Mr. Tony convinced one of our family members to try the street food at a local market (she is normally somewhat of a picky eater and was not planning on sampling the food, but he found items that were approachable for her the try :). Walking around the temple that we visited at night was a highlight, and it's worth taking a guide to show you around Chinatown. 5 stars - definitely recommend.

A perfect mix of food, culture and fun - Good amount of food. Jib was
friendly and informative, not only did we visit a variety of food markets and restaurants we also called a temple, fed turtles and some monuments of the city. A perfect mix of culture, food and fun. It was hard to find the meeting point, but the guide was helpful when we called.

Excellent Guide & Experience - We had an incredible private tour with Sasa, our guide, and Mr. Noi, our tuk tuk driver. Having the tour at night was special because it allowed us to see a different side of the city, and enjoy the cooler temperatures. The pacing and schedule of the tour was great, allowing us to eat throughout without getting full, and feeling like we saw a lot without feeling rushed. Sasa was an excellent guide, with tons of knowledge and impeccable English. Her relationships with the local vendors was also a real plus. We felt like VIPs getting ushered to the front of the line at a Michelin restaurant and street food carts alike.
Mr. Noi always made us feel safe driving through the hectic streets, while also making sure we didn't sit in any unnecessary traffic. Even better, they made a great photography team, lining up perfect shots and lighting over and over again.
Quick tip: if you arrive at Krung Thon Buri BTS station on the Gold Line from Icon Siam, you can just go up to the ticket booth and request a pass to go through the Green Line station to Exit #1 to meet your guide.

An absolute must for your trip to Bangkok! - We didn't know what to expect from this tour, but by stop number 2 we were already blown away! It was so exciting knowing so much more was yet to come. Every stop is so different from the last and you learn and see so much of what this beautiful city has. Our guide, Sasa, was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny. She made what was already a fantastic tour just a little more special. She actively sought vegetarian/vegan foods from market stalls so no one missed out. We all met in an easy to find, convenient and accessible location. Mr Noopat was our tuk tuk driver for the night. He was polite, friendly and safe. Can't fault the tour one bit, definitely book this as a priority for your trip to Bangkok!

Incredible night! - From the first stop to the last this is an amazing way to see a glimpse of Bangkok by night!
Our guide was full of knowledge, the street food that we had for ‘snacks’ was more like a meal, getting access to the inside of a stupa after hours was just incredible.
To top it off, the Pad Thai meal at the famous Thipsami restaurant was to die for.
A great night, recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a glimpse of Bangkok after dark!!

Amazing Way to Spend an Evening in Bangkok - I had the most amazing time on this evening tuk tuk tour with Sasa, who made everyone feel very well looked-after. We visited a night market, flower market, Chinatown, saw some of the main sights brilliantly illuminated at night and ate lots and lots of amazing food!
As a solo female traveller, I don’t usually venture out by myself at night so this was an amazing way to experience Bangkok after dark. Thank you so much, Sasa! The dessert (fresh mini pancakes with mango fruit and mango ice cream) were my favourite :-)
