- Crazy Horse Memorial - The Crazy Horse Memorial is an ongoing mountain monument project on privately owned land in the Black Hills. It portrays the Oglala Lakota warrior Crazy Horse, astride a horse and pointing towards his tribal land. Upon completion, it will be the largest man-made sculpture in the world. The museum houses over 14,000 pieces of Native American art. During the summer, Lakota dancers perform on the patio, offering a rich historical and cultural experience.
- Hill City - In 1883, the discovery of tin near Hill City led to a population boom. The Harney Peak Tin Mining, Milling, and Manufacturing Company established its headquarters on Main Street, supported by English financiers, and acquired 1,100 prospecting sites in the area. As mining flourished, the city gained a reputation for its lively atmosphere, once described as “a town with a church on each end and a mile of Hell in between.” At its peak, Main Street was home to 15 saloons. Today, Hill City is celebrated for its local artists, dinosaur museum, and wine tasting venues.
