Best 2.5 hr tour in Ketchikan - This was a great tour guided by a full-time resident of Ketchikan. Juan was amazing and super knowledgeable of the history and the best spots to see wildlife, totem poles, and waterfalls. I’m glad we chose this tour through Ketchikan Expeditions rather than going through the cruise ship excursions. It was convenient, educational, fun, and less expensive, but worth a whole lot more. I would recommend.

An enjoyable semi-private tour of Ketchikan with Juan! - Our guide, Juan, made the tour very interesting and we learned some cool details about what makes Ketchikan special, the history, the culture, the natural beauty of the area. Because there was a small group of us, we took a very nice van around for our tour instead of the trolley, which worked very nicely. Toured the Totem Heritage Center instead of the outdoor Village, due to heavy rain at times, which was a nice swap. Enjoyed our time out and about with Juan, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others!

The Eagle Whisperer! - Great little tour!! I forgot our drivers name but he can call eagles....saw him do it!! Never heard such a weird "whistle" 2 1/2 of hours of non stop commentary except for 45 mins in Ketchican. Just a fun little excursion

Wildlife & a tour guide that REALLY ENJOYS what he’s doing! - Kevin was our driver/tour guide. He handled all our expectations leaving late because we were waiting for another family to arrive. He tailored our experience to show us waterfalls, beaches and wildlife including a bear, harbor seals and we even saw humpback whales feeding about 100 yards offshore! Great time was had by all & we were back to the ship with time to spare! I highly recommend the Trolley Tour!

Ketchikan Wildlife and Totem pole tour - We had a great tour. Our guide was so full of information. The sights were beautiful. We saw salmon, harbor seals, and even a black bear. He did a great job reading the totem poles at Saxman village for us. I highly recommend this tour

Ketchikan Trolley Tour was exceptional! - The operator checked in with use to make sure we were not having any issues getting to the meetup point. He met us at pickup point and explained the trolley was a little behind due to the lateness of another passenger. The trolley showed up within a few minutes and off we went. The trolley driver (Kevin) has great knowledge of the area. He was very accommodating, making sure we had ample time to explore at each stop. There was a large Asian contingent on the trolley and he would explain everything in English and Chinese (?) We had great conversation with Tim while we waited for the trolley!

Fantastic tour and guide - We were only a party of 2 and were lucky to get a private tour. Kevin was a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. As a Ketchikan resident, his knowledge of the area shows in the information he shared with us. We greatly enjoyed our tour and thought it was the best of our entire cruise! We would definitely book again with Ketchikan Expeditions.

Doesn’t visit everything in the description - This was disappointing for my family as the description indicates that we would visit the Saxman village and the totem poles there but we never did. I asked to see them but was told we couldn’t go in and I’m not sure why. If you want to go into the village you’ll have to take another tour. We drove by them so only got a quick view from inside the trolley. For the other sites we did enjoy seeing the cove, waterfall, totem pole interpretive centre and creek street. We saw seals, eagles and deer at the cove.

Waste of time and money!🙄 - Nothing really spectacular to see on this trip...the Saxmon Village that was supposedly included with this tour didn't happen...we sat across the road and took pictures.

Trip cancelled due to bad weather - Unfortunately having travelled all the way from the UK bad weather meant that the ship could not dock in Ketchikan… we were only given short notice and therefore were unable to cancel our booking within the 24 hours … very disappointed at losing hard earned money and even more not being able to visit Ketchikan.
