An Awesome Day in Ketchikan with Juan. - Jo Anne TN If you are looking for the best, most informative tour in Ketchikan do yourself a favor and choose this tour! Juan was absolutely amazing and in a matter of a few short minutes we were all like family. He joined right with us, giving us the best tour I have ever experienced. He showed us all the local hangouts and gave us top notch information. We got up close and personal with the bald eagles and what magnificent creatures they are, He was friendly, courteous, and genuinely interested in giving us an insight into the Alaskan culture and way of life. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!!!!

The Best Way to Start Your First Visit to Ketchikan - We took this tour in our first stop on a Cruise trip. We weren't sure what to expect as Ketchikan appeared to have the least number of interesting "excursions" that were pre-bookable through the cruise line. When we arrived, our plan was to just figure out something to do for ourselves. Originally, we had wanted to take a plane ride, but the weather did not permit it. Since we couldn't do that, we just decided to follow one of the tour that were soliciting themselves outside right off the dock. At the time, we didn't know what to expect from the rest of our trip, but I can tell you now that the random tour we got was the best experience that I had on our whole cruise through Alaska. Joe DelPero was our tour guide. He was so nice and helpful. We even had a bathroom issue with a family member that cost us half an hour of our tour, but he gave us a free extension to make up for the lost time. He had amazing recommendations about what sights were the best to see and his local connections to the community really went a long way towards makes us feel welcome in the city. Of all the stops that we made, this tour had the least "touristy" feel to it. Instead it felt like an old family friend was showing us around the neighborhood that he'd moved to after we hadn't seen him in a while. I'm sure that there are plenty of ways to find your own fun in Ketchikan, but have a tour with a knowledgeable local like what we found was about a good a start to our journey as we could have ever hoped to ask for.

Christopher is the BEST Tour guide!!! - Christopher is truly a Gem! We didn’t have any excursions planned in Ketchikan but walking to town we found the private bus. Christopher took us all through town and gave us so much history of the island. He took us to see several land marks. The salmon swimming up stream and gave us the whole history of how it’s down. We got to see a beautiful waterfall and we stopped for a bear sighting. We did see a baby cub and a bald Eagle. He even offered to stop for a restroom break several times if needed. He made sure to get us back to our ship on time. Chris is such a jolly, happy human and he made the tour so interesting. He was so accommodating. His knowledge of Alaska, Ketchikan and wildlife was special. He is truly one of a kind ! I would like to send Chris blessings and hugs from Texas ❤️

Awesome time in Ketchikan, AK. - What an awesome time. We did a 2.5-hour tour. Our Driver Christopher did an amazing job. He drove us through town telling the history and highlights; we stopped at Ketchikan Creek and saw samon coming upstream, then took us to see some bears, and ended with stopped by the Saxman native village. I would highly recommend this company, and make sure to ask Christopher to be your guide.

Great Customer Service and Experience! - Ketchikan is an incredible destination with breathtaking views. Our guide, Keith, took us to Totem Bight State Park where we saw many totem poles and a community clanhouse. Spectacular views in every direction. We also went to an area where there were several bears fishing and catching fish right out of the river! Eagles could be found nearly everywhere we stopped. It was a great adventure with lots of wonderful memories. So fun. Highly recommend you engage Ketchikan Expeditions. Thanks, Tim!
