Everyone is welcome, and our boat is designed to be wheelchair-accessible. We also offer adaptive fishing equipment for those who need it: a rod holder that can be mounted on a wheelchair, grasping cuffs for limited wrist function, and reel grips for limited finger function.
Captain Jack is a Certified Autism Specialist through IBCCES, and Fishability Alaska holds certification from Autism Double-Checked.
While fishing, it’s common to spot wildlife such as whales, orcas, porpoises, seals, sea lions, eagles, and more! Captain Jack is eager to share stories about Ketchikan’s past, present, and future, or he can maintain a quiet atmosphere if you prefer to enjoy the scenery and tranquility away from the crowds.
