- The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon - Next, ascend to the hilltop sanctuary of Harissa, which overlooks the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Here, in serene surroundings, stands the iconic Our Lady of Lebanon statue, a symbol of peace and protection. - Téléferique Harissa - The Telepherique is one of the oldest and most popular tourist attractions in Lebanon. It is a gondola lift system located in Jounieh, a city 16 km north of Beirut, that transports passengers above the pine-forested steep mountain to an altitude of 650 meters, arriving at the Our Lady of Lebanon shrine in Harissa. It offers breathtaking views of the bay of Jounieh and the surrounding city.
- Byblos - The journey concludes in the historic town of Byblos, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities globally. Stroll through narrow cobblestone streets lined with ancient ruins, visit the impressive Crusader castle, and explore the lively souks filled with local treasures. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this UNESCO-listed site, where civilizations have flourished for over 7,000 years.
- Byblos Castle - Byblos Castle, a restored 12th-century Crusader castle surrounded by a 10-meter-wide dry moat, is located just inside Byblos’ atmospheric archaeological site, which contains the ruins of the Temple of Baalat Gebal and the Temple of the Obelisks. It’s an impressive structure that offers an excellent view over the ruins from the top of its foursquare keep. A series of Bronze Age dwellings is clearly visible below the walls as you look towards the sea. Inside the castle, there’s a small museum and a room with information panels outlining the city’s history.
- Old Souk - Byblos old souk is a historic market where visitors can shop for souvenirs and antiques or simply stroll along the old cobblestone streets and admire the architecture.
- Byblos Port - Byblos Port is an ancient port in Byblos and is believed by the Lebanese to be the oldest port in the world. Around 3000 BC, Byblos Port was the most important timber shipping center in the eastern Mediterranean.
