Great day with Dora! - We had a wonderful day seeing the sights and learning about the area. Dora was our guide and we can’t thank her enough for making this day perfect. She was great with the kids and very accommodating for the photographer in our group. It was definitely worth the money.

Best part of our trip! - Hands down the best part of our Ireland trip. Rory was the perfect host - timely and knowledgeable. The van was spacious and comfortable and small enough to go down local roads the big busses can't. While we had rented a car, I'm.very glad we didn't drive Slea Head ourselves. My blood pressure and marriage would have suffered for sure. Thanks so much, Rory!

Great day on Dingle - We booked a private full day tour of the Ring of Dingle. Our driver, Dora, was fantastic. She asked about our interests and tailored the day to what we wanted to see. She lives on Dingle and really showed us the highlights as well as spots off the beaten path, and she was able to provide a local perspective on everything. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book again.

A spectacular day with tour guide Karen! - Our tour guide, Karen, was incredible, and this was a spectacular day - the highlight of my 10 days in Ireland. We booked the full day private tour for a group of four. This was a real splurge for our family, and I was a bit worried that my family members wouldn't think it was worth it -- but the tour exceeded all our expectations, and we were so glad we did it. I was happy that my sister, who did most of the driving on the trip, had a chance to be a passenger for the day and enjoy the stunning scenery. Karen, our guide, asked us at the beginning of the day if there were any particular points of interest for us, and made sure that we got to see the things we were most interested in. There are plenty of stops to get out of the minivan, enjoy the beautiful landscapes, and take photos. I loved walking on Coumeenole Beach, and seeing Brendan Creek and the Conor Pass (I was glad I was not driving up the mountain!) Our family has Irish ancestry, and we wanted to learn more about the people of Ireland, past and present. Karen is so knowledgeable, and she helped us learn some of the history of the Dingle peninsula, and what it's like to live there today. Dingle is in a part of the country called the Gaeltacht, where the Irish language is prioritized so it can be preserved. It was interesting to hear about how children in the area have their classes in the Irish language, and Karen shared a few Irish language phrases with us. I was so glad I booked this tour. Also, we were traveling with an older person, and Karen was good about identifying which stops were going to be more or less manageable for our particular needs. For other travelers, I'd advise them to bring a bit of cash along, for lunch, and to go in to pet the baby lamb (a very small fee, and worth it).

Excellent way to experience the Dingle peninsula - We had a private tour for four people (two couples) with Karen. She drove us around the peninsula, stopping at several sites (after checking that we were interested in the location) and providing great information along the way. Karen is very passionate about hiking in the area and suggested several locations where we could get out fo the van for anything from a quick walk to some fairly strenuous “hikes” to the tops of hills with spectacular views in addition to the typical stops at beehive huts, ring forts, etc. This was so much better than just looping around to a pre-set list of locations because we did have a private group and Karen was able to tailor the day to our interests.

Beautiful drive and hikes - You won’t want to miss this beautiful scenery, and the historical sites. And you won’t want to drive it yourself, trust me we opted for the drive and hike combination. Our guide, Rory was happy to customize the trip along the way to stay longer or shorter times, depending on what we were interested in. The Cliffside views combined with the fresh air hiking and Rory’s great historical details provided us with the perfect day!
