• Kernave Mounds - Kernave, the first capital of Lithuania, is just a 40-minute drive from Vilnius. Along the way, visitors can explore the Cognitive Walkway of Dukstos Oak-Wood. Upon arrival in Kernave, a former medieval capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and now a popular tourist destination and archaeological site, visitors can discover five hill forts, an archaeology museum, and a shop offering handmade souvenirs.
• Uzutrakis Manor Estate (The Tyszkiewicz Palace) - Potential stops include a viewpoint of the Neris riverbank or the Uzutrakis mansion. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays.
• Trakai Island Castle Museum - Trakai boasts a stunning castle situated on an island. Visitors can explore the castle museum, enjoy a boat trip (for an additional fee), and dine at a traditional restaurant owned by the Karaim family. From October to May, the Trakai castle is closed on Mondays, allowing only for an exterior visit. In December and January, the castle is closed on both Mondays and Tuesdays, with only outside visits permitted.
