Continue further into the park, where you’ll leave the vehicle for a hike to Sheldrick Falls, cascading 82 feet (25 meters) into a refreshing, clear pool perfect for an afternoon swim. This area is a crucial habitat for the endangered sable antelope. Keep an eye out for elephants residing in the lush rainforest, and look for ostrich eagles, cuckoos, and African hawks in the trees.
