• Tsavo East - Begin the day with an early pickup from a Mombasa hotel or airport at 5 am, heading to Kenya’s largest park, Tsavo East, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Upon arrival, the vast, flat, and arid landscape greets you, setting the stage for your adventure. Embark on a game drive to spot wildlife across the expansive terrain. Visit the pipeline area, a popular spot for elephants due to the numerous water holes perfect for mud bathing. Here, you have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many elephants, and if fortunate, the Big Cats. Around midday, there may be a break for lunch at one of the lodges. After lunch, continue with the game drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, taking in Tsavo’s breathtaking views and understanding its harsh, dry environment where animals often gather in smaller areas during the dry season for water and habitat. Conclude the day by exiting the park and returning to Mombasa for drop-off.
