Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru - Begin the safari with a morning pickup from the hotel or airport, and set off for Lake Nakuru, passing through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Enjoy a stopover at the escarpment for breathtaking views and photo opportunities, then continue to Lake Nakuru, arriving by mid-morning. Delight in a game drive, followed by check-in at the lodge for lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive. Nakuru National Park boasts over 350 bird species, including greater and lesser flamingos, plovers, marabou storks, white pelicans, and egrets. The park is also home to white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, zebras, antelopes, buffalo, and other wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Resort or a similar accommodation.
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
Lake Naivasha - Start the day with an early morning full breakfast, then drive to the nearby Lake Naivasha. Proceed to Crescent Island via a boat ride, where a walk awaits. The shores are teeming with birdlife, especially large numbers of pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles with their distinctive calls. The island hosts more animals per acre than any other Kenyan park, including herds of wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, and gazelle. Hippos graze at night and rest under acacia trees or in the water by day. Giraffes born on the island often return to give birth, sometimes with three generations present. Occasionally, pythons can be seen with a kill. Buffalo groups come and go, but are always monitored. Depart the island for Nairobi, arriving in the evening, with a drop-off at the hotel or airport, marking the end of the safari.
