Nairobi to Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 7:00 AM, guests will be collected from their Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara, passing by the stunning Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the valley floor. Arrival is scheduled for lunchtime. In the afternoon, after checking in, guests will embark on a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. The day concludes with a delightful dinner at Zebra Plains Mara.

Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most renowned tourist destination, situated in the Great Rift Valley, predominantly featuring open grasslands. Wildlife is most densely populated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It is considered the crown jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration, involving over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November, is a highlight. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see the Big Five. The extraordinary wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to Masai Mara, is a world wonder.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Mara River - Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five, enjoying picnic lunches during the game drives. The Mara River is home to numerous resident hippos and crocodiles lounging on its banks.

Optional: In the evening, visit a local Masai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and engage with the local people. An overnight stay at the Masai village can be arranged upon request. A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early in the morning, followed by the regular program. The Mara is the stage for perhaps the most spectacular natural event: the great migration. This annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) is in search of water and pasture, followed by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Nakuru to Naivasha

Lake Nakuru National Park - After an early breakfast, depart by 7:00 AM directly to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. There is also a chance to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts three hours, followed by a one-hour drive to Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch.

Hell’s Gate National Park - After lunch, guests will head to Hell’s Gate for a biking safari. If guests are too tired, they can be driven through the park by car. All bikes, guides, and entrance fees will be arranged. Later, enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Naivasha to Amboseli

Amboseli National Park - Guests will be picked up from the hotel at 6:30 AM to drive to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its scenery with the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, dominating the landscape and open plains. Arrival is in time for lunch, followed by check-in at AA Lodge Amboseli, lunch, and a short rest. An afternoon game drive will search for popular residents like well-known predators and their counterparts such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Full Day Amboseli

Amboseli Eco-system - An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the lodge. The day is spent in the park with a packed lunch, searching for popular residents like well-known predators and their counterparts such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later, return to Zebra Plains Amboseli for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Observation Hill - After an early breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a short game drive en route out of Amboseli, then drive to Nairobi. A simple complimentary snack will be provided on the way. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport, marking the end of the tour.
