Rift Valley Province - The Great Rift Valley is a series of connected geographic trenches, stretching approximately 6,000 kilometers (3,700 miles) from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon, Asia, to Mozambique in Southeast Africa. Although the name is still used in some contexts, it is seldom used in geology due to its imprecise combination of distinct yet related rift and fault systems.

Equator Sign - The journey passes through a town called Mogotio, where a large sign indicates the crossing of the equator. Local residents are pleased to offer an equator crossing certificate for a small additional fee.
