Shem is the best Maasai Mara tour guide! - Could not ask for a better 1day Maasai Mara experience! I had a wonderful tour guide and exceptional driver, Shem, who shared his wealth of Maasai Mara knowledge - from the weight of a giraffe’s heart, which must perfuse the brain- several feet away - to the different patterns of zebra stripes and what they represent. Shem went out of his way to make sure I had a thoroughly wonderful and exciting tour. I was able to see the Big 5 and more. It was fascinated to see and experience the beauty of the Maasai Mara. I only had a day to see the Maasai Mara- but Shem made sure no minute was wasted. We covered as much ground and as many animals as most people who take a 3-5+ day safari. We even witnessed the truly amazing Great Migration of the wildebeests! If you are short on time, but you still want to experience the fascinating creatures of the Maasai Mara, I would whole heartedly recommend the Kenya Bush Expeditions 1 day tour with Shem! You won’t regret it! Don’t forget to request Shem- he’s an excellent tour guide!

Amazing experience with short time - They readily accommodated me for a single day safari at Maasai Mara, because of my tight schedule during a work trip. Tonny Cruize was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, and made all the effort to show me as much as possible in such short amount of time. We ended up seeing almost all the Big 5, plus many others very close to the car! What a fun experience!

Best tour guide - We had the best safari guide ever: Joseph! He is so passionate about his job, smart and kind. We wish him all the best for his future. The communication with the agency via WhatsApp was extremely fast. You can tell they are very experienced. The hotel was beautiful but the canalisation in the bathroom is not too good due to the area.

The highlight of our trip in Kenya - We had limited time but like to check out Masai Mara before flying out. John had been absolutely wonderful. He was punctual, informative and welcoming. He spotted cheetahs from far, we saw four out of the big fives just within few hours of game drive. We had even witnessed a giraffe giving birth from just 20 meters away! We were always provided with the best possible place for viewing. Absolutely amazing, will come back for another visit with proper length.

Not to be done in a day! - Excellent place for game drives and in my expert opinion would be suicidal to do in a day. The road trip is long and tiring to do in a day.

Very grateful and humble - Very good to see the ways they live using just what they have mostly the resources from the land and their family unity. The singing and dance was the bonus

Masai mara - Ok so it was great , got to see 4 out of the big 5. On the description of the tour it’s says luxurious truck for the game drive. It was horrible 😅 breaking apart pretty much. Old & when I say old I mean UGLY OLD. Another funny thing is that we didn’t go thru main entrance of the park, you were you take the picture “welcome to Masai reserve” . We went thru some bushes a rocks, there were clothes hanging 😅, & when I asked why they said to see the village 😂 on our way back it seemed like they’re hiding and rushing to not be seen. Idk it was weird. I paid the park entrance to a member of the Masai Mara tribe which is 200$ per person. It was 4 of us, & I know for a fact that park accept cards, but like I said I think they do this under the water to keep the money 😅 we didn’t know to be honest. But oh well got to experience part of it, I wouldn’t recommend to someone. It’s better to go thru the main entrance or other professional tour guide agency. Call me picky but This was not it. We end up paying $450 per person .
