A Beautiful Day Exploring Kenya Together - ‎My partner and I wanted to experience something different during our stay in Nairobi, so we booked the Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Boat Ride Day Trip from Nairobi with Day 2 Day Tours and Safaris. It was a lovely way to spend a day together away from the busy city. ‎‎We really enjoyed our time around Lake Nakuru. The scenery was beautiful, and seeing wildlife in its natural surroundings made the experience special. ‎‎We took plenty of photographs and enjoyed having someone knowledgeable with us to explain more about what we were seeing. ‎‎The boat ride at Lake Naivasha was perhaps the most relaxing part of the day. Sitting on the water and looking across the lake created a peaceful atmosphere, and it was a nice contrast to the excitement of the safari. ‎What impressed us most was how smoothly the day came together. They were friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed unnecessarily. ‎‎It was a memorable experience for both of us, combining wildlife, scenery and relaxation in one day.

‎A Great Break From a Busy Business Schedule - ‎I was in Nairobi for business and had one free day before my flight home. Rather than spending the day in the city, I decided to book the Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Boat Ride Day Trip from Nairobi with Day 2 Day Tours and Safaris. ‎ ‎The trip was a welcome change from meetings and conference rooms. Lake Nakuru gave me an opportunity to experience Kenya's wildlife and natural scenery even though my schedule did not allow for a longer safari. ‎ ‎I enjoyed the game-viewing experience and appreciated the information provided along the way. ‎ ‎The Lake Naivasha boat ride was another enjoyable part of the day. After a busy business schedule, being on the lake and taking in the peaceful surroundings was surprisingly refreshing. It gave me time to relax, take photographs and appreciate a different side of Kenya. ‎ ‎I found their guides professional and easy to deal with. The itinerary made good use of my limited free time, and I returned to Nairobi feeling refreshed. ‎ ‎For business travelers with a spare day, this is a very worthwhile option.

An Excellent Choice For A Day Trip - I was visiting Nairobi and wanted to spend one of my free days experiencing Kenya's wildlife and scenery without joining a long multi-day safari. ‎ ‎I booked the Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Boat Ride Day Trip from Nairobi and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. ‎ ‎Lake Nakuru offered an exciting wildlife experience, and I enjoyed having time to observe the surroundings and take photographs. ‎ ‎Traveling alone gave me the freedom to concentrate on the things that interested me most. I also appreciated being able to ask questions about the animals and the area throughout the trip. ‎ ‎The boat ride on Lake Naivasha was a lovely contrast to the safari. The peaceful atmosphere on the lake made it a great opportunity to slow down and enjoy the scenery. ‎ ‎I particularly liked seeing the landscape from the water rather than simply viewing it from the road. ‎ ‎The whole experience was comfortable and well coordinated. Day 2 Day Tours and Safaris gave me a memorable introduction to two beautiful destinations in a single day. ‎

Family Trip- A Wonderful Day out Together - ‎Our family had a wonderful experience on the Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Boat Ride Day Trip from Nairobi with Day to Day Tours and Safaris. ‎ ‎We were looking for something that would allow both adults and children to enjoy nature without spending several days away from home, and this trip turned out to be a great choice. ‎ ‎Lake Nakuru was a highlight for us, especially seeing the wildlife and enjoying the beautiful scenery around the park. ‎ ‎The children were excited throughout the safari and kept pointing out animals they had never seen in person before. ‎ ‎Later, the boat ride at Lake Naivasha gave us a completely different experience. Being on the water and seeing the surroundings from the lake was relaxing after the safari. ‎ ‎Day to Day Tours and Safaris made the day easy for our family. Everything felt well organized, and we appreciated the friendly approach of the team. ‎ ‎It was a memorable family adventure and one we would happily recommend to other families looking for a day trip from Nairobi. ‎

Lake Nakuru day trip and safari from Nairobi - My driver collected me from the Hotel and drove to Lake Nakuru stopping on the way to look at the view over the Great Rift Valley, there was an opportunity to buy nick-nacks but as I had arrived late the night before I didn't have any local cash. We then drove to the Lake Nakuru park gate, not all gates were open due to the water levels. There was a big souvenir shop just outside the gate and I planned to go back but we left via a different park gate. Once the park fee was paid (it worked out at more that $80 USD? not sure why? we entered the park, there was lots to see and my guide was very proficient at spotting and identifying wildlife. During the course of the day I was able to see White Rhinos, Lions, Giraffes, Zebra, Buffalo, Flamingos, storks and many eagles and other birds, warthogs, baboons and monkeys among other animals. We took lunch at the main lodge inside the park, a bit pricey and the price was not advertised in advance. After lunch I was offered the Lake Naivasha boat ride but it was cash only so after going back to look at the White Rhinos again we headed back to Nairobi (it was a day trip). Warning - avoid a day trip out of Nairobi on a Sunday, especially to Lake Nakuru - the traffic back into Nairobi was truly awful and slow. Otherwise the trip was great. I only had one day free and got to see lots of wildlife in a great habitat. My driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had booked a 'group tour' but since it was low season I ended up on a private tour so it pays to go out of season. My flight landed late on the Saturday night and it was an early start on the Sunday morning. The tour pickup was planned for 05.00 but I got a message 18 minutes before saying 05.30, could have had an extra 30 minutes in bed. Overall it was a great day but tiring and the traffic on the return trip was tough. The park entry fee was not as advertised and lunch while nice was also a bit pricey. But I would do it again, but maybe not on a Sunday...

Great trip for watching birds and rhinos! - Overall great experience! The lake is in the middle of the reserve, during the tour we took a road which goes through the lake where you can see thousands of birds fishing and interacting with each other. We were able to see tons of zebras, warthogs, giraffes, baboons and buffalo. The also managed to see both black and white rhinos! Our guide Eric was hospitable, knowledgeable and happy to accommodate our wishes. We stayed in the park during the whole trip instead of taking the boat tour on lake Naivasha, which we had already done on a different safari. We recommend this trip, especially if you want to see rhinos.

Lake Nakuru - I enjoyed the tour and the guide was very helpful and informative. But the drive from Nairobi was a lot longer than advertised. That’s why it was not a five the travel was twice the length of the visit

Very nice excursion - I really enjoyed this day trip to Lake Nakuru. Morning check-out at 5am from the hotel with a stop on the way for breakfast. Arriving at the lake national park, a beautiful landscape, full of pelicans, birds, buffaloes, monkeys, we saw a lioness too. It was with a large classic car, no sunroof and the window could only open half, which restricts vision. For lunch my guide took me to the restaurant of a lodge in the national park, with a splendid view and a small good buffet. We then went to Lake Naivasha, a very nice place, and I took an hour boat ride on the lake to see hippos and birds. I had to pay $50 for this 1 hour boat tour and it seemed very expensive, I had read that the price was more of 25 to 30 dollars maximum. I recommend this one-day tour.
