Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On Day 2, start with a nutritious breakfast at the lodge from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. From 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, enjoy a final game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, spotting wildlife like rhinos, flamingos, and various bird species. At 10:30 AM, embark on a scenic drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Great Rift Valley and stopping at viewpoints. Arrive at your Maasai Mara accommodation by 1:30 PM for a brief rest.

In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, experience an exciting game drive in the Maasai Mara, where you may spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos—along with zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs across the stunning savannah.

At 7:00 PM, return to your lodge for dinner featuring local and international dishes, then unwind and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On Day 3, begin with breakfast at the lodge from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM, fueling up for a day of adventure in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. From 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, embark on a morning game drive, exploring the park’s different sections. This is the best time for predator sightings, including lions and cheetahs, as you watch the sunrise over the stunning Mara plains.

From 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, return to the lodge for some leisure time. Relax and enjoy the lodge’s amenities or take a peaceful nature walk around the property. Lunch will be served from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, featuring fresh, local ingredients.

From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, continue your adventure with an afternoon game drive, where you may spot elephants, gazelles, and lions. At 7:00 PM, return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner before resting for the night.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Nairobi - On Day 4, begin your final day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. From 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, enjoy leisure time, where you can explore the property, take in the views, or simply relax. At 10:00 AM, check out and embark on the scenic 6-hour drive back to Nairobi, passing through the picturesque Great Rift Valley. You’ll arrive in Nairobi around 4:00 PM, with a drop-off at your accommodation or the airport for your departure.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience made special by an outstanding team - We had an absolutely incredible safari, and a huge thank you to our guide Michael who was outstanding from start to finish. He fulfilled all our wishes, made sure we saw everything we hoped for (and more!), and always positioned us perfectly for the best views and photos. His knowledge, patience, and positive energy truly made the experience unforgettable. A special mention also goes to Elvis, one of the owners of the agency, who was equally amazing. He was professional, kind, and available 24/7 for anything we needed. The whole organization was seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this agency to anyone planning a safari – they truly go above and beyond!

Amazing Kenyan Owned Tour Company. - Our trip to Kenya with Daylight Adventures & Safaris was truly one of the most magical and memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we started planning, Misaro ensured that every detail was taken care of, making the entire journey smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable for everyone in our group. We were a family of 10 spanning three generations, including my grandparents, and Misaro made sure that every aspect of our trip was accommodating to our diverse needs. Our adventure took us to some of the most beautiful locations in Kenya, starting with Lake Nakuru. From there, we traveled to the iconic Masai Mara, which was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. The sheer beauty of the savannah, the incredible wildlife sightings, and the expertise of our guides made the experience unforgettable. While on safari, we had two cars to ensure everyone’s comfort. Julius, the driver for my grandparents, went above and beyond to make sure they had a smooth and comfortable journey, which we greatly appreciated. I rode in the car with Ken, and I cannot thank him enough for making the experience truly magical. His knowledge of the wildlife, passion for the safari, and friendly demeanor made every moment special. We were able to see some of the most incredible animals up close, and both Ken and Julius’s expert tracking skills ensured that we didn’t miss out on any key sightings. The wildlife encounters were undoubtedly the pinnacle of our trip. On our first day in the Masai Mara, we were fortunate to witness the Big Five. Observing a leopard relaxing on a tree branch, with a fresh kill, was a sight that encapsulated the raw beauty and power of the wild. The rhythmic march of elephants across the plains, their silhouettes set against the beautiful land was both humbling and exhilarating. The sheer diversity and proximity of wildlife in the Masai Mara provided an immersive experience that deepened our appreciation for these magnificent creatures and their ecosystems. After our safari experience, we continued our journey down to Makindu Gurdwara, a significant and peaceful place that was deeply meaningful for us to visit. From there, we made our way to Mombasa, where we enjoyed the stunning coastal scenery and relaxed by the ocean. Misaro was able to arrange all the water sports activities that my family wanted to do. One of the things that stood out the most was Misaro herself as she ensured exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We were lucky enough to meet Misaro whilst we were shopping at the Maasai markets in Nairobi, and she helped us bargain and navigate the stools. While on the safari, my brother unfortunately smashed his phone. Elvis stepped in and arranged to have it collected once we returned to Nairobi, and to our surprise, they even had it fixed the very same day! Additionally, my grandparents decided last minute that they wanted to visit a friend in Mombasa. Despite the sudden change in plans, Misaro quickly arranged for a driver, ensuring that their trip was seamless. It was moments like these that truly set Misaro & Daylight apart from any other travel company I’ve experienced—their willingness to accommodate unexpected requests and go the extra mile for their clients was exceptional. Our parents were so captivated by the beauty of the East African coast that they decided to plan another trip to Zanzibar for my mum’s 50th birthday in March. Once again, Misaro was there to assist, helping them book a hotel and even securing a discount, making the trip even more special. Overall, our holiday with Daylight Adventures & Safaris was nothing short of extraordinary. From the well-planned itinerary to the reliability of the drivers, the expertise of the guides, and the thoughtful customer service, every aspect of our trip was handled with care and professionalism. I will definitely be booking with Misaro again in the future, and I have already recommended them to my friends.
