- Lake Nakuru National Park - The journey kicks off with a pickup in Nairobi, leading directly to Lake Nakuru National Park. This lake is famous as a bird sanctuary, hosting over 400 bird species at various times. It can accommodate up to two million greater and lesser flamingos, along with tens of thousands of other birds, earning it the nickname “Birds’ Paradise.” The park also serves as a rhino sanctuary, offering exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. Visitors can start enjoying the wildlife as soon as they enter the park gates. When lunchtime arrives, there will be a stop at the lodge where meals can be purchased at a local restaurant (at one’s own expense).
- Lake Naivasha - Post-lunch, the wildlife viewing continues during the drive out of the park. Departure from the park is around 3:00 PM, heading towards Lake Naivasha for an optional 1-hour boat ride. To include the boat ride, ensure the correct option is selected during booking. The boat ride offers bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing experiences. After the boat ride, the journey concludes with a return to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
