The park is also home to a variety of water birds such as Yellow-billed Pelicans, Marabou Storks, Hammerkops, and Fish Eagles. Additionally, it provides sanctuary to endangered species like Rhinos and Rothschild Giraffes. While elephants are absent, other wildlife such as African buffalos, zebras, and impalas can be found. The park boasts the largest euphorbia forest in Africa, along with yellow acacia and various shrubs. Other attractions include Lion Hill and Makalia Waterfalls. Guests will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue their game drive, departing in the afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

A visit to Crescent Island provides an opportunity for a safari walk among animals such as giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and antelope families. These experiences may last two hours or more. Afterwards, guests will take a boat ride back for lunch at Kifaru Restaurant. The guide will then drive them back to Nairobi, returning them to their hotel.
