Lake Nakuru National Park - Begin your journey with a pick-up from Nairobi and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, enter the park and enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge situated within the park. Check-in at the lodge is scheduled around lunchtime. After a brief rest, embark on a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening. Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its flamingo colonies along the lake’s shores. It is home to numerous bird species and a variety of animals, including rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and lions, among others.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - Embark on an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve remains one of the few places on earth where wildlife thrives relatively undisturbed, in numbers reminiscent of the past African plains and forests. As the northern extension of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch provided. The reserve is famous for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where the Big Five can be spotted during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs are so accustomed to vehicles that they seek shade under them and some even climb onto the roofs for a better view of potential prey. The Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with nearly 500 recorded species, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 types of bustards (including the kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Nairobi - Depart Masai Mara after breakfast. Enjoy the scenic views on your journey, arriving in Nairobi by late afternoon. You will then be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
