The park is also a sanctuary for endangered white and black rhinos, and you may spot leopards resting in acacia trees. Enjoy views from Baboon Cliff before heading back to your lodge for dinner.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli – Journey South

Amboseli National Park - Depart after breakfast and drive back through Nairobi, continuing south toward Amboseli National Park. This is a longer travel day, but the changing scenery—from highlands to open plains—makes for an engaging journey.

Arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon. If the skies are clear, you’ll be greeted by the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Enjoy a relaxed evening at your lodge as wildlife grazes nearby.

Amboseli – Elephants & Iconic Views

Amboseli National Park - Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and postcard-perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and the mountain is often clearest. Visit the Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park’s swamps and plains.
