Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the reserve under a croton shade tree as you take in the beauty of the Mara, located at the banks of the Mara River.
Optional: In the evening, visit the Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. An overnight stay at the Maasai village can be arranged upon request.
A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early in the morning, followed by the regular program. The Mara is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration.
Mara River - On the full-day tour, you will reach the Mara River, where many resident hippos and crocodiles bask on the riverbanks. The Mara River is the site of the great migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeests arrive in July and depart in November.
The phenomenal wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to the Maasai Mara, is considered the seventh wonder of the world. Visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe the resident crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River. A guided tour by rangers will allow you to see Nile crocodiles and hippo families, and at midday, enjoy a picnic lunch provided by us under a tree in the park, overlooking the vast landscapes.
Continue the game drive and explore the beauty of the Mara Reserve until evening.
Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru
Nakuru - After visiting the village, embark on the drive to Nakuru. Lunch will be provided en route at a traveler’s motel.
Upon arrival in Nakuru, check in at your hotel and relax. There will be no game drive on this day, allowing you to unwind, swim in the pool, or take a walk around your hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Lake Nakuru - After an early breakfast, depart by 7:00 AM directly to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. There is also a chance to see pink flamingos. The game drive lasts three hours, after which you will depart for Naivasha.
Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Naivasha through Hell’s Gate then to Amboseli

Complete the tours and return the bikes at the gate. If biking is not an option, you can explore the park on foot or by car.
Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable part of the Great Rift Valley. Its spectacular scenery, including towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and geothermal steam plumes, makes it one of Africa’s most atmospheric parks.
Amboseli Eco-system - After lunch, begin the drive to Amboseli. There will be no game drive on this day due to the late arrival, so the game drive will take place early the next day. Amboseli is renowned for its scenery, with snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains.
No game drive due to late arrival.
Check in at the camp in Amboseli, have lunch, and take a short rest.
Amboseli Full Day Game Drives
Amboseli National Park - An early morning game drive in Amboseli is recommended when Mt. Kilimanjaro often emerges from its cloud cover. The game drive proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, a wide salt pan with permanent swamps. This area is rich in wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, Burchell’s zebras, elands, Masai giraffes, and various antelope species such as the common waterbuck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, and topi. It also features a dry Pleistocene lake basin that becomes a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, after the rains. Waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro flow down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. While Amboseli may not have the abundance of animal species found in the Mara, the landscape offers limited cover, increasing the chances of spotting larger predators.
Observation Hill - This is a stunning overlook of Amboseli Park. You can sit and watch elephants play in the marsh below. From the summit of Observation Hill, a pyramid-shaped volcanic hill rising over the predominantly flat Amboseli National Park, you can admire views of the plains and swamps against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. It is one of the best places to see elephants, attracting many tourists, both local and international. In addition to large mammals gathering here to drink, you can also see flocks of pink flamingos. Bring binoculars and a powerful lens for excellent pictures.
Amboseli to Nairobi
Amboseli National Park - Enjoy early morning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After the morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Nairobi.
