Tsavo West National Park - After an early breakfast, check out and proceed to Tsavo West National Park, known as the “Land of Lava, Springs, Man-Eaters & Magical Sunsets”.
Experience the sight of 50 million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing from the Mzima Springs and the Shetani lava flows. Tsavo West is a stunning, rugged wilderness with a savannah ecosystem of open grasslands, scrublands, acacia woodlands, riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges, including the Poacher’s Lookout, offering views of the herds below.
Tsavo West provides some of the best game viewing globally, featuring elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and diverse plant and bird species, including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra reed warbler. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Tsavo West- Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - After breakfast, depart with an en-route wildlife-viewing drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to over 50 large mammals, including elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, various antelopes, and over 390 bird species.
