Nairobi City to Amboseli National Park (The Land of Jumbos)

Amboseli National Park - The long-awaited safari adventure is about to commence. The guide will provide all the necessary information to reach the safari destination. Hotel pick-up is scheduled for 0700hrs, followed by a journey to Amboseli National Park.

The trip will take approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours, with a few stops along the way. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy some leisure time before lunch, served from 1230hrs to 1400hrs. At 1500hrs, embark on a park excursion to discover the wildlife and bird species. The park is renowned for its large-tusked elephants, and Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain (5895m), majestically overlooks Amboseli. This setting offers incredible photo opportunities, especially when the clouds clear over the summit, typically around sunrise and sunset.

There is also a good chance of spotting lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes (in the park’s east), wildebeests, and numerous gazelles. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with 420 species recorded.

Amboseli National Park Back To The City (End of the Safari With Us)

Amboseli National Park - Enjoy an early morning view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather over the summit, capturing every precious moment. Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s largest mountain, is a photographer’s dream, with elephants often appearing to pose in front of the snow-capped peak. Breakfast is served at 0600hrs.

Check out of the hotel by 0700hrs and head to the park for a game drive. Spend more time exploring the magnificent Amboseli National Park, and later visit a Maasai village. The Maasai community offers vibrant and engaging activities that are a must-see while at Amboseli Park, including their traditional dances and cultural activities like ornament making.

Later, proceed to Nairobi with a stop at Emali for lunch. The expected arrival time in Nairobi is between 1500hrs and 1600hrs. This unforgettable Amboseli adventure will leave lasting memories. Although the safari must come to an end, it is certain that many exciting and joyful memories will be taken home.
