Nairobi to Amboseli

Amboseli National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel at 7:30 AM or from the airport upon arrival. The journey to Amboseli, renowned for its large herds of free-roaming elephants, begins. The park features a diverse landscape of plains, acacia woodlands, rocky thorn bushes, swamps, and marshes, all sustained by an endless supply of underground water filtered through volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro’s ice cap. This variety offers excellent opportunities to observe large herds of African mammals and birds in their natural environment. Arrival at the camp or lodge is scheduled in time for lunch, followed by check-in. An afternoon game drive is planned, returning to the camp or lodge by 6:30 PM, just in time for a refreshing shower before dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Observation Hill - Today’s adventure includes an extensive game drive through Amboseli’s varied landscapes, including open plains, marshlands, seasonal lakes, lava-strewn thorn bushes, and acacia woodlands. Enjoy world-class photography as experienced safari guides position the vehicle for optimal viewing. With some luck, guests may see herds of buffalo, families of elephants, prides of lions, and more. An optional visit to a Masai village is available, where guests can learn about the proud nomadic traditions of the Masai warriors. The Masai are renowned for their bravery and strength in battles against wild animals. The visit includes a presentation of traditional singing and dancing, integral to their sacred rituals.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Nairobi - An early morning start offers a chance to witness the sunrise during a game drive in Amboseli, experiencing the dawn chorus and the transition from night to morning across the savanna. Guests will then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, it’s time to check out and say goodbye to Amboseli National Park. Transportation back to Nairobi is provided, with an early afternoon arrival and the option of a drop-off at a hotel, residence, or the airport, depending on guests’ preferences.
