DAY 1: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 a.m., the operator will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The route includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10-15 minutes to admire the scenery. Lunch will be served at the camp in Maasai Mara. After checking in, the operator will embark on an evening game drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The day concludes with a buffet dinner and relaxation at Miti Mingi Camp, Rhino Camp, or a similar location. The tents are equipped with a toilet, shower, bed, linen, and mosquito nets. Electricity is available from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MAASAI MARA RESERVE

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast at 7:00 a.m., the operator will set out for a full day of exploration in Maasai Mara, seeking the Big Five. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park. The operator will visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe the resident crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River. The Mara is renowned for the spectacular natural event of the great migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture, followed by predators like lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Miti Mingi Camp, Rhino Camp, or a similar location.

DAY 3: MAASAI MARA TO SERENGETI VIA ISEBANIA BORDER

Serengeti National Park - Breakfast is served at 7:00 a.m. followed by a morning game drive for two hours, exiting through the South Gate with a packed lunch. The operator will drive to the Isebania border of Tanzania, arriving around midday. After completing the hour-long border crossing process, the operator will meet the Tanzanian driver/guide and chef. The game drive in Serengeti will commence en route to the accommodation. Dinner and relaxation will follow. The operator will sleep in provided tents and receive a sleeping bag. The campsite is secure, protected by armed guards, and shared with other tourists. All meals in the Tanzania safari are prepared by the private chef accompanying the group.

DAY 4: FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

Serengeti National Park - Breakfast is at 7:00 a.m. followed by a full-day game drive in Serengeti with a picnic lunch at 1:00 p.m. The operator will return to the base camp at 4:00 p.m. for dinner prepared by the chef. Serengeti National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is famous for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. The herds move north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains in search of new pasture. Many cross the marshy western corridor’s crocodile-infested Grumeti River, while others head northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - The operator will depart Serengeti at 7:00 a.m. with a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Park. A visit to Olduvai Gorge will be included before proceeding to the campsite for an overnight stay.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO TO LAKE MANYARA

Lake Manyara National Park - A full-day tour of Ngorongoro begins at 7:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, located in northern Tanzania, is home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the “Big Five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Large herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years. The operator will then drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an overnight stay at Jambo Campsite.

DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA TO ARUSHA

Arusha - An early morning half-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park begins at 7:00 a.m. Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It is managed by the Tanzania National Parks Authority and covers an area of 325 km², including about 230 km² of lake surface. The operator will depart for Arusha, arriving around 4:00 p.m. Check-in at Venus Premier Hotel for a relaxing dinner. Bed and breakfast are included.

DAY 8: ARUSHA TO NAIROBI

Nairobi - Breakfast is served at 6:30 a.m., followed by departure for Nairobi on a morning luxury shuttle leaving at 7:00 a.m. Arrival in Nairobi is around 3:00 p.m., with onward drop-off to the airport or a hotel within Nairobi.
