We’ll be captivated by the stunning hills above the valley until morning, eagerly anticipating the wonders that the Maasai Mara holds. Tomorrow, we’ll explore these wonders with community-based guides who are dedicated to the Maasai community, central to the Mara experiences.

Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Park
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Depart the lodge in the morning after a hearty breakfast with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing in this expansive savanna grassland within the Mara Triangle. The renowned Mara Reserve is famous for its large herds of plains game, black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It also hosts numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya.
This game drive will take you to the Mara River, the famous crossing point for the migration of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti in Tanzania in late June/early July to Maasai Mara, and back to the Serengeti in October. You’ll have the chance to see hippos and crocodiles basking along the riverbank. After lunch in the wilderness, enjoy another extensive game drive on your way back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Journey from Maasai Mara to Amboseli
Amboseli National Park - Travel to Amboseli National Park. Dominated by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (5,896 m), Africa’s highest mountain, Amboseli is one of Kenya’s oldest, most famous, and most-visited parks. It offers endless panoramas and is dotted with emerald green swamps where large herds of elephants wallow, half-submerged in papyrus grasses. The permanent marshlands attract a wide variety of wildlife, especially hippos and buffaloes, and provide a haven for abundant water birds. The plains are home to numerous antelopes, spotted hyenas, jackals, warthogs, olive baboons, and vervet monkeys. Lions are rare. Observation Hill, a conical peak that is easy to climb, offers stunning views of both the wildlife and Mount Kilimanjaro.
Exploring Amboseli National Park

Wildlife highlights include lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, hippos, spotted and striped hyenas, giraffes, oryx, wildebeests, gerenuks, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles.

Maasai Mara stands as the most renowned safari destination in East Africa. It hosts the Great Migration, where annually, over 2 million zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara.
Amboseli is renowned for its large population of African bush elephants, earning it the nickname: Home of the African Elephant. The park has made remarkable efforts in conserving these majestic creatures, ensuring frequent sightings. In addition to elephants, visitors can also encounter the rest of the Big Five: lions, leopards, buffalo, and giraffes.
Located in southeastern Kenya, Tsavo is near the Tanzanian border and close to the Kenyan coast. It is famous for its unique mane-less lions, large herds of red dust-covered elephants, and cheetahs.
