Much better than expected and expectations were high! - Perfectly organized tour. Very reliable and very pleasant, especially from the driving style of our guide in the difficult road conditions. The accommodations were a perfect starting point for the gamedrives and activities. Dan has an excellent knowledge of wildlife and he could do any (really any!) Answer question with an amazing calmness and knowledge. Perfect!

Thrilling family holiday with an expert guide. - Explorer Kenya arranged an eight day safari for me. Purity offered a valuable interactive service during the planning stage. She was ready and able to give us a bespoke programme just for my family group and to make changes to 'the normal'. For example she was able to add a night drive - which we particularly wanted - by switching to a different camp for one night. We were naturally concerned about sending money in advance, but all our payments were swiftly received and acknowledged and their were no extra charges on arrival. I made a particular request for a guide who could identify the many bird species we saw, as well as the animals. Solomon. our guide, was ideal. As well as navigating us across the vast national parks to lots of encounters with animals, he was a genuine birding expert, able to identify (literally!) hundreds of bird species rapidly. Solomon was also thoughtful and reliable throughout the trip and a safe driver on Kenya's crowded roads. The safari days we experienced were absolutely spectacular. We had numerous sightings of Lions - hunting, basking, even mating! And saw the large gatherings of zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and antelopes for which the Masai Mara is famous. The camps we stayed at were all safe and luxurious. A really pleasnt suprise was the number of delicious Indian dishes on the buffets; that and the local 'Tusker' beer! I plan to go back to Kenya to see more and will certainly use Explorer Kenya again as they delivered exactly what they promised, which amounted to a tremendous safari holiday. I'll also be sure to ask for Solomon as a guide again.

Amazing Kenya Trip - We were a group of 5. We did a tour of 7 days 2 nights in Amboseli , 1 night at Naivasha lake 1 night at Lake Nakuru & 2 nights @ Masai Mara. The car provided was of excellent condition & the Driver Mr John Kariuki was outstanding. A very kind & humble person taking great care of his tourist. I will give 5 star rating for Mr John Kariuki

Incredible time in Kenya with our guide Moses - We had a fantastic experience visiting Kenya. Communication with Francesca prior to arrival was smooth. The accommodations and food were better than we could’ve imagined. Our local guide Moses was fabulous. He made sure to make us feel safe around the animals and was a responsible guide around the park. He got us the best views of the animals. He was also hardworking and accommodating to adjust the tour to our needs. I recall we had to drive from Amboseli to Sweetwater in a day. Despite a 9 hour drive, Moses still took us on a game drive to see the Chimps and Rhino. Having driven from sunrise to sunset, he even offered to take us on a morning drive at 6am the following morning. His passion for the animals and his job really stood out to us. I’d highly recommend a trip to Kenya with Moses and Explorer Kenya.

Best choice for Animal Seeking - First time in Africa, booked a 7 days tour in Kenya to see animals. The company is great. It helped us get excellent hotels in the two parks. We chose the most experienced guide to be our guide, who's name is James K. He knows about every animals and knows where to see them. He can find lions with his experience and his eyes. Me and my friend saw all the animals we want and had a great time with James!

Great trip - It was absolutely an amazing trip, once a life time experience. Also great to meet Steve, the driver, the guide, the expert on wild life and safari. A valuable week to witness the real nature unfiltered, getting as close as possible to the wild lives. I do wish the communication with the experience explorer could be better in general. More details on the living conditions, vehicle, the complete schedule presented in a more intuitive way could be shared before the journey. We could be better informed on what activities are available at various locations, at different parts of the trip. There are some minor things that could improve our experience greatly if we were given tips prior, such as bringing a telescope, the water conditions at the hotel/sopa (it was indeed good but we heard various versions and had to take precautions). This is especially useful for people visit East Africa for the first time, like me and my friends. The duration of the visit was good but it could be more time efficient. To put it simply, for every hour spent on getting to places/traveling, we could get more time on visiting, safari or any other experience, things we could easily pick up along the way. but Kenya is a big country and traveling does take time. Frankly speaking, the payment system needs to be improved. card payment online and in person for the trip does not seem very easy and we had to do SWIFT transfers which are costly and troublesome. I did two different transactions before the trip started, the deposit and the remaining balance. Explorer Kenya should start building the online payment system that facilitates booking future trips, a fixed deposit could work and enough for initiating the trip planning. I also wish we were told that Kenyan shillings are actually widely used instead of dollars (we travel from the UK and USD is not the default currency for us).
