Arrival Day: Journey to Nakuru National Park for the Flamingo Migration Experience

Lake Nakuru National Park - Guests will witness the spectacular flamingo migrations at Lake Nakuru, along with sightings of both White and Black Rhinos. This park is essential for observing Rhinos and Flamingos. In addition to the renowned lesser flamingos, the lake hosts approximately 400 other bird species and various wildlife, including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, and many more.

The annual Wildebeest migration sees thousands of these animals sweeping across the plains in search of new grazing areas. A full-day game drive with a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool on the banks of the Mara River, where the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] occurs while the crocodiles lie in wait, will be an unforgettable experience.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Another full day in this magnificent park with a bush dinner and Hot Air Balloon Safari. The Bush Dinner begins as the sun sets. Guests will find tables and chairs set up, with a campfire, lanterns, and bush kitchen ready, accompanied by our Live-Band. Our staff will serve freshly prepared gourmet food crafted by the executive chef using fresh local produce with international influences, paired with fine wines. To enhance the African dining experience, local Masai groups will sing and dance, providing entertainment that harmonizes with the sounds of the unfenced bush. By the light of the flickering embers of a wood fire, guests can relax and savor the final moments of another adventure-filled day.

Departure for Nairobi with an Early Dinner at the Carnivore

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Begin with an early morning game drive, including a Hot Air Balloon ride and a visit to a Masai Village to experience Masai Culture. Then, proceed to Nairobi for a unique dining experience at The Carnivore, a restaurant ranked among the top 50 best in the world, perfect for barbecue enthusiasts. This barbecue offers not only traditional beef, pork, and chicken but also game meat such as Giraffe, Gnu, Zebra, Crocodile, Hartebeest, and Ostrich. The meat is barbecued on a large charcoal BBQ at the restaurant’s entrance and served with special sauces, a Carnivore secret. NAIROBI CITY WALK TOUR/EXPERIENCES - Depending on the flight schedule, guests will embark on a tour of “The City In The Sun,” the Nairobi City Tour, with a lunch break at The Utamaduni Restaurant. After lunch, a visit to the home of Karen Blixen, featured in the Academy Award-winning film ‘Out of Africa,’ and the nearby Giraffe Center, followed by an airport transfer for the flight back home.
