Great experience - We booked a 4 day tour to Masai Mara and lake Nakuru with a shared jeep. Our driver Calvin did his job very well. He was informative, punctuate and friendly to us and specially our children. We mostly appreciated that he did everything for us to be able to see the big 5 in Masai Mara national park, and getting a close view of both cheetah and leopard. There are plenty of lions, elephants and giraffes, and we are pretty sure these are guaranteed to get a close up to. The only "surprise" for us may have been the simple standard of the camp we stayed at the first two nights, and we would only like to mention that the operator could communicate that the facilities at this camp are basic with electricity shortages at specific hours. However, the staff there are friendly and the stay is limited as mostly of the time is spent game viewing/driving. The Masai village visit that we optionally booked in our tour was not good at all - a short dance where the group was afterwards separated and guided to see different houses (with a story of how the men in the village are supposed to kill a lion to become a man, which we find unlikely realistic being an endangered animal), and with selling overpriced souvenirs (fake lion tooth necklaces). The stay at the hotel in Nakuru was nice, and the game drive to lake Nakuru offered good opportunities to see many animals. Our driver and guide Calvin was exceptional all the time and tried his best to be in service for us. All in all, we did the trip for the game viewing, and that is what we got. And more than that.

Great, once in a lifetime experience - Had a great time on Safari. I was picked up at the airport after arriving in Nairobi and transferred to the jeep upon meeting the company representative. At the end of the tour, I was dropped off at my lodging as requested. Park fees were requested in cash although I originally planned to pay directly via cc. Calvin, the driver, introduced the plans each day after everyone was picked up from their various lodging. Some tour members had a physical itinerary, but I'm unsure where/if it was available to view. I didn't have a problem with the selected itinerary and was happy to leave the planning to someone else. Seeing the various animals was amazing, and Calvin answered a host of questions and provided commentary on their background and history. He searched high and low to point out all the animals and made sure I was having fun. This was a bucket list item and I'm so glad to experience it. Lodging was wonderful. My first tent camping experience provided a comfortable bed, hot shower, private toilet and delicious food. The soups were amazing! Minor car repair issues arose, but were handled by the driver. Be prepared for traffic delays.

4 Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru - We had an extremely memorable 4 day trip with Castro from Perfect Safaris. The budget accommodations were clean, the staff was friendly and the food was plentiful. Our guide, Castro, took great effort in getting us to see all the different wildlife, answering questions and ensuring we had a great experience. We would highly recommend. Perhaps a few tips: if the water isn’t offered, simply ask for it. The nights in the camp can be accompanied by loud nature sounds, think of packing ear plugs. Bring some extra cash for additional tips, especially if doing any optional activities. It’s a great experience especially at the cost.

Unforgettable experience!! 100% recommend!!! - It was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Probably, I would say that it has been one of the best trips of our life. The staff from Perfect Safaris was incredibly nice and helpful. Clara and the manger from Perfect Safaris for were really understanding when one of our bags did not arrive with us the night before our safari. She replied to our phone call late at night and they were flexible and allowed us to go on the same itinerary leaving one day later. The safari was incredible. Albert, our guide, was super professional and very skilled driver. He did great efforts to take us to spots where we could see the big nine. Also, he took care of the group ensuring that everyone’s needs were accommodated. The accommodations, especially at the camp outside Masai Mara were better than expected and the food was delicious! Would 100% recommend to book this safari with Perfect Safaris!! We would do again without a doubt!

Experience of a lifetime - This was the experience of a lifetime! First of all, we need to thank Clara from Perfect Safaris for her flexibility and understanding when one of our bags did not arrive with us the night before our safari. She attended to our late phone call and was able to get us on the same itinerary leaving one day later. The safari was incredible in all facets. Albert was an utmost professional and very skilled driver and game spotter. He repeatedly put us in spots to get lucky which we did, seeing 8 of the big 9, although we know this is not always possible. The accommodations, especially at the camp outside Masai Mara were better than expected and the food was delicious! The vehicle was comfortable and we felt well taken care of throughout our experience. Would 100% recommend!

Very good experience. - Very nice experience. Masai Mara was a great trip. I only took the entrance for one day, the second since I read that spending 200 dollars for the entrance to the park for 2 hours (that is what you do the first day, is not worthy) If you do like that I think you are fine, if not I understand that some ppl complained about it because they take too long to arrive there the first day. The hotels they set us all in were very nice, we had very good food in the hotels but the picnic was quite poor (they gave us basicall y a load of empty bread and a chicken wing). However as I said our hotels stays and food there was good. Guide was trying his best to get us close to the animals though didnt explain much Overall a recommend experience and fullfill what I expected from it

Not a perfect tour - The advertising of the tour clearly show, in the day 3, a 60 minutes stop at Lake Naivasha. The admission fee was paid but we did not stop in Lake Naivasha in any time. I don't know why.
