Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Great Rift Valley - The pick-up time is scheduled for 6 am from the airport to the departure point in Nairobi city. Guests will be collected from their hotel in the city center to begin the safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve, with a 15-minute stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Here, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the stunning Rift Valley floor. The Rift Valley is a geographical expanse stretching 6,000 km across the Middle East and Africa, from Jordan to Mozambique. It showcases remarkable topographic diversity with its escarpments, volcanoes, lakes, ancient granitic hills, flat desert landscapes, and coral reefs and islets. The incredible view as one approaches from Nairobi, Kenya, is truly awe-inspiring. Mt Longonot can also be seen from a distance.
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Upon arrival at the camp, guests will check in and proceed for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. They will return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner, followed by a restful night at Miti Mingi Camp or a similar accommodation.
Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
Mara River - Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. With some luck, guests may spot the Big Five and witness the wildebeest migration. Picnic lunches will be enjoyed in the Reserve while taking in the beauty of the Mara. The banks of the Mara River are home to many resident hippos and crocodiles.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, guests will check out of the camp. There is an option to visit a nearby Masai village for a cultural tour at an additional cost of USD 20. Afterwards, the journey back to Nairobi will commence. Lunch will be provided en route at a traveler’s motel. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off in the city center or at their hotel within the city center.
