- Guests will have the chance to visit the traditional village of the local Maasai tribe. The Maasai are eager to share their culture and traditions, showcasing their lifestyle and how they coexist with wildlife. For the Maasai, cows represent wealth. They have long practiced a sustainable approach to land management. Lion-hunting, once a traditional Maasai rite of passage, is no longer practiced. In the past, young Maasai men proved their warrior status (moran) through the ritual killing of a lion, either alone or in a group, using only iron spears. The Maasai are renowned for their jumping abilities. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at the city center or a hotel within the city center.
