First Safari, Completely Amazing operator! - This was our first safaris in Africa, so we had to reach out to several tour operators before settling on Silver Spark Africa as our tour agent in both Kenya and Tanzania. With Silver Spark Africa, our communication was straight, easy, on time and documents shared with details of our tour were of great quality. Our driver and guide were on time each day, very polite and understanding all through the tour, nice and always smiling. We had a good game drive and greatly appreciated Samwel, as our guide, he knew the animals and names. The jeep was great, we had no trouble with the vehicle, even during the second day, when it rained heavily in Maasai Mara, we never stayed stuck and our Samwel was a pretty good driver! We had a great Safari tour and we loved Maasai Mara, Bongoria, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. In Bongoria, Samwel always took the time to bring us where he thought we would see birds and animals, we are such animal lovers that he did that extra mile for us in Lake Nakuru on the morning of us leaving for Lake Elementaita. The accommodations that were booked across all parks and reserves were all nice and some were incredible, like the Kilima Lodge in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru lodge and Tukaone Serengeti center. All the meals we ate were delicious, at the hotels and even as box lunches because we had the Big Lunch Box with "hot complete meals" and cardboard box lunches. That was great, we really appreciated Silver Spark Africa.

An unforgettable Adventure ! - We had the chance to do our booked 14 days Safaris across Kenya and Tanzania all we had was great and were above expectations from the hotels, the airport transfer, camps and lodging. All our game drive both in the Maaasai Mara and Serengeti National Park was great we had water bottles through our trip. We did more than five game parks during our vacation, all was great. The accommodations were comfortable and well chosen, the food was delicious and our guides, Peter and Waziri were professional, friendly and passionate about nature and conservation. If you're looking for a diverse, adventure filled and truly immersive safari experience this is the trip for you. Highly recommended!

Most outstanding Team! - We booked our Safari with Silver Spark Africa last minute during the travelling season. Kepha and Abongo were very responsive and also accommodated our budget by creating a new plan us. Our guide David was good on his driving skill, keen and more observing. At every stop in each park, David, told us about the animals and showing us all the different between plants. He had a minivan with a pop-up roof 4x4 a four-wheel drive so comfortable and we got to see all the animals. On the last day, due to heavy rain, we could move so fast but he made it work and dropped us off directly to the airport after passing by the office to see Abongo for the last time. Our accommodation. Lodges/camps we stayed at were also way better than we expected from the reviews, and that was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend their five-star service.

Incredible safari experience - We arranged a 15 night safari to Kenya and Tanzania with Silver spark Safari. We were quite late arranging this but Obongo made it easy and answered all our questions, there were a lot! We were picked up at the airport and taken to our accommodation for the first night where Obongo had made sure they would have some dinner still waiting for us, despite it being very late. The next morning David came to meet us and we set off to Masai mara. On arriving we did a walk to the local masai village which was a great experience. The next day was our first game drive at Masai mara and we had the most incredible day, we saw all the animals we could have hoped for, besides the illusive rhino. It felt like the action did not stop all day and David was so knowledgeable about all the animals and birds. From here we travelled to Lake Nakuru where we had an evening game drive and saw flamingos, lions and rhino. The next day we travelled on to Lake Elementaita where did a bird watching walk with Zachary, who had amazing knowledge and bird call skills! We travelled on to Amboseli and had two days here and saw so many elephants, as well as lots of other animals, with the backdrop of Kilimanjiro. From here we travelled to the border to cross over to Tanzania. We were very sad to say goodbye to David who had taken such good care of us. We met our new guide Maurice and were also pleased to see Obongo and Soombe who had come to ensure the border crossing went smoothly! We had a short game drive in Tarangire with the beautiful baobao trees and then moved on to the Serengeti. We had an incredible stay at Tukaone Luxury Serengeti Camps for two nights. These were luxury and we were very lucky to be able to watch the sun set followed by a storm from bed on our first evening here. Again we saw so many animals whilst here. We did have some trouble with the vehicle which required a stop at a garage in the serengeti, but this could not be helped. We then spent our last day of safari at Ngorongoro which was perhaps the best scenery of our trip with so many animals to be seen. From here we headed to Arusha to catch our flight to Zanzibar. We were again met by Soombe to ensure getting through the airport went to plan. We then had an amazing four nights at Zanzibar retreat hotel. This was such a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with a small number of guests and incredible food. We added an extra night to our stay in Zanzibar and wish we had added more! Overall our whole trip was more than we could have wished for. The service from Silver spark was great, from Obongo being so helpful whilst organising everything and the care we received from him and Soombe making sure our travels went smoothly throughout our trip. Our guides were fantastic and it was great getting to know them whilst learning about the animals as well as local culture and language. David and Maurice were also great when we got unwell during the trip, checking in on how we were and getting us to pharmacies for help with this. Whilst this trip does involve a lot of driving/travelling we were blown away by the landscapes and amount of animals we saw and all of the scenery in different parks. We cannot recommend them more highly and hope to be able to come back to do another trip with you soon!

Life- Changing Safari Trip to Africa - We had an incredible trip! The only flaw in the trip was the payment process. Unfortunately, for Canadians, none of the available payment service options worked for us e.g., Wise & Revolut. These apps do not work with Canadian banks. The other option was paying in cash, which was something we were not comfortable with, as this was the most expensive trip we ever took, and didn't feel comfortable carrying that much cash in our pocket, really for any trip honestly. Based on this, I wasn't confident in how the trip would turn out, but here I am still leaving a 5 star review as I was stressed about the payment process at the beginning of the trip. . Now for the pros! Our driver David deserves the biggest acknowledgement of them all. He was so much more than a driver, and felt like a family member. He was immensely caring of my husband when he become sick during our trip, and our relationship felt more personal that business related. Personally as someone who travels a lot, I find it exhausting to always be seen as a tourist. David never made us feel this way and I hope to keep in contact with him in the future. If you want a more personal experience with your guide, I couldn't give a higher rating for David. Our driver Waziri in Tanzania was also fantastic, and always made us feel safe and has many years of experience as a guide in Tanzania. His knowledge of all the wildlife was plentiful and had lots of good information along the routes. I personally left Africa gaining weight after this trip. I do not eat meat but all the accommodations had plenty of veg friendly options. I will be honest that I went in with relatively low expectations food wise, but was immensely satisfied. Keep in mind you are traveling in a third world country. All accommodations were lovely and very different which kept the trip interesting. Both AA Lodges we stayed at were lovely and had a real authentic African vibe to them. The lodge at Lake Nakuru was also beautiful. Personally, I felt two days here would be preferred instead of staying at Elementaita Lake. We also were never offered the hot-spring for a relaxing dip which we were looking forward to since so much time in spent in the car. I believe the itinerary needs a bid of amending. The nicest hotel we stayed at was for sure the Heart & Soul Lodge. It was the most modern hotel and we had a romantic dinner on the rooftop under the stars. Even though this was the most upscale accommodation, I am grateful for the diverse selection of hotel choices, because an Africa trip would not feel authentic without the lodges this tour provided. The most humble accommodation we stayed and definitely the most rustic was within Serengeti park. We absolutely loved this experience sleeping in the center of the park in a tent, hearing all the wildlife outside. I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Tukaone Luxury Serengeti Camps. We spent one evening just chatting about life with the staff, and you could genuinely feel how much they love their jobs working within Serengeti. Our trip was booked very last minute, so the typical accommodation in Zanzibar was not available to us. Our hotel was beautiful but was a "dry" alcohol-free hotel. We were quite disappointed about this, as this vacation was our honeymoon, and the beach part of the trip is where we really wanted to unwind and relax and celebrate. Luckily, the hotel beside was not dry, so we were able to enjoy some beverages there. Pro tip, ask a local, he also may be able to help ;). All together, I'd say that this trip was incredible and quite literally life-changing. I really look forward to traveling back to Africa, and would highly recommend this package as a whole.

Fair deal for the price ! - We started out as novices and Abongo from Silver spark helped us plan and execute almost exactly what I had in mind when I started out to visit East Africa ! We had a wide variety of Parks to visit ,saw a great variety of landscapes and the vehicles which were allotted were pretty goodeven if they were slightly old ! Accomodations were also a wide variety from the very budget Fanaka camp at Manyara to the lovely Kibo safari camp at Amboseli and the wonderful experience of waking up inside the Serengeti in the Kon Tiki camp! However even the budget accomodation was good and scrupulously clean ! Abongo was very easy to deal with and went out of his way to arrange for some transport we needed at Zanzibar to visit Chumbe ! My only regret on this trip was that we were to stay at Azure Mara Pride Inn which is inside the Mara near the Talek river and at the last minute that was changed to Jambo mara which is about 2 hours out of the Mara due to bad roads and that definitely made for a poorer experience ! On the whole however we had a wonderful rich and fulfilling experience and it was planned from start to finish by silver spark african safaris ! Thank you Abongo !

An Africa experience! - Booking with Silver Spark Africa was great. They didn't disappoint. The 14 days we had in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar) was one of the best. Everytime we were in the vehicle we made sure our mask were on , not forgetting sanitizer. The journey between inter county in Kenya wasn't a problem as we had thought. Abongo provided us with an excellent customer services and even briefed us before the trip. The trip was well organised. Brian was our driver and guide, he has a lot of skills and also the fact that he was good in english we had easy time communicating. Maasai Mara was beautiful , so green and animals were not difficult to spot.we saw all the big 5 animals. Our all our hotel accommodation were well organised , we spend in luxurious hotel in Samburu Sarova shaba.i do recommend Silver Spark Africa safaris for their extraordinary services they provided to us.

Magical experience! - Our experience with Silver Spark Africa can make my horizon broaden. I could think everything with my life during tour time such a relaxing. Our tour guide, Geoffrey who was with us for our safari tour was very kind and professional. I think he know everything in safari. The vehicle that we used for tour was good. We enjoyed all hotel. When we were being transfer to Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive some kilometer km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. This was amazing experience of a life time. We saw all the Big5 animals and other great wildlife animals I always dream of seeming, and everything was excellent! Thank you for the amazing experience! Highly recommend

A great safaris,  fully satisfied - This was a great safaris,  fully satisfied. The company deserves a five stars rating. A well organised 14 days trip, doing the best national park in Kenya and Tanzania.  A lifetime  vacation. Our driver, Paul, made every effort to ensure we enjoyed every minute of it in each and every game park we visited. Paul made sure we saw lions, buffalos,  leopards and elephants during our game drive in Maasai Mara and Serengeti of Tanzania. He stopped when we requested to take pictures in the park. We visited a Maasai village and that was simply amazing for my young kids. Perfect hotel accommodation . Our trip was the best one .We requested the Abongo to organize for us Mara camping , which he yielded to our request and made the arrangement. The  sunset was such a spectacle over a cup of tea and the sunrise is breathtaking every morning. In Maasai Mara, when you are camping, be sure to pack warm clothes for the night and light clothes for the day while sightseeing.  Thank you SSAS team!!!

Lack of honesty and greed ruined my vacation and trust - Please do NOT trust this Saffari company. I booked 8k worth of 19 days Safari with them, we were given a run down van in Kenya, no water for one day and moved to Tanzania in the most horrible local road to avoid toll fee in highway. I would have let it all go, what happened on last part in Zanzibar left me speechless, instead of sending us to the hotel that we paid for in a swimable ocean we were sent to a cheaper hotel that is religious hotel near a beach full of weeds . Last 8 months, manager Abongo kept promising to return 300 dollars in nearly 50 msg exchanges . I am giving up now and returned my friend his share by myself. I regret choosing this company and trusting them .
