Great Tour - Wow! What an experience. And Cindy was an incredible tour guide/host. We visited three bourbon distilleries. Two were small and the last was large scale - allowing us to witness bottling and manufacturing processes. Cindy shared really helpful info on bourbon distilling, the different distillers we’d be visiting, and Louisville history. It was all helpful, entertaining, and applicable. The ride was comfortable and timed well. Lunch was tasty and service very good. Communication from Mint Julio was thorough and timely allowing us to feel well- prepared for our day.

This was our second time using - We took a private bourbon trail tour with Mint Julep Experiences in Louisville, and it was fantastic. This was my husband’s and my third trip on the bourbon trail and our second time using this company. It was my daughter’s and son-in-law’s first trip, and Mint Julep made it a great experience for everyone. The drivers are professional, knowledgeable, and well prepared. They call the day before, text you with contact information, arrive on time, and even have water ready for you. Everything feels organized and easy from the start. We did two days of touring. On the first day, we had Stan. He was laid back, easygoing, and a lot of fun to spend the day with. He was very flexible with our schedule, and even though we didn’t have a lunch stop scheduled by choice because I was trying to fit in as much as possible, he found a way to work in a place for us to sit down and eat while still keeping us on schedule. It made the day enjoyable and stress-free. On the second day, we were with Cindy, and it was a more relaxed day, just what we wanted. We wanted to spend extra time at Maker’s Mark, which is my favorite distillery on the trail. We needed to adjust timing and make a few changes, and she helped us do that without any stress. She even helped us squeeze in one extra stop and made sure the rest of the day still flowed well. She was kind, flexible, and fun to spend the day with. We learned so much from both Stan and Cindy, not just about the distilleries but about the history behind bourbon. Even if you don’t drink bourbon, the history is fascinating. I also want to mention Anna, who made this entire trip possible. She was our main contact, and over six months she helped plan everything, made suggestions, stayed on top of reservations, and worked with me through several last-minute changes. She truly helped tailor the trip so it worked for everyone in our group. We will absolutely be back, and we will definitely use Mint Julep Experiences again. They make the bourbon trail experience safe, smooth, and genuinely fun.

Private Bourbon Tour - Abby was very helpful in planning our trip. Our guide Stan was excellent and made the trip fun, engaging and got us everywhere in style. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I also appreciated his communications the day before, to confirm details and provide some recommendations for Thursday night places to eat as we got into town. Very pleased with Mint Julep Tours and will make sure to use them again in the future!

Bourbon tour guy's trip - Phenomenal. Jerry's knowledge of the local bourbon scene was unmatched. Even took us to some liquor stores after the tours.

Jerry makes it happen. - Did a private tour of Four Roses, Wild Turkey, and Willett. Our drive and tour guide, Jerry, was outstanding. He was able to make a couple adjustments on the fly to expand our experience. A great tour with a great guy. Would definitely book again with him as our driver.

Ask for Jerry! - We scheduled a private tour, 4 of us total and traveled to Four Roses, Wild Turkey and Willet as we had not been to these before. By far we liked Willet the best. Excellent tour and the tasting was superb. But the highlight of our trip was our driver Jerry! He was engaging and asked us great questions as well as answered our questions. He was willing to accommodate some schedule changes on the fly and took us to a delicious BBQ joint for lunch. If you can book with Jerry, do it, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again Jerry, we had a great time. We’ll tell you the rest of our stories in 2027!

Saved the day for our birthday weekend! - We booked with Mint Julep Experiences last minute after our original company bailed on us. We had a party of eight celebrating a 50th birthday and planned a full day of bourbon tasting! Abby was amazing from the first phone call and got us taken care of immediately. Communication was great! Travis was our driver and was so great! His stories were a surprise treat! He even worked in an additional stop after one in our group mentioned wanting to pick up a special bottle that wasn’t on the tour stop! I can’t recommend them enough!

50th Birthday Celebration! - This was the perfect way to experience the distilleries in and around Kentucky! We rented transportation for 16 passengers for my husband's 50th birthday. Tons of room, super clean - and Holly was AMAZING! She answered all our questions, knew a ton and had a love for Kentucky. She made the trip extra special. Additionally, she had water, ice and cups ready for us - in case we need them. Overall, highly recommend!
