Sam - great guide - We had a tour with Sam, who was extremely knowledgeable and informative and very pleasant. He was quite happy to extend the tour for a little bit since we hadn’t seen everything in time due to my Boyfriend ‘s incessant questions!

Brilliant tour of the city - This was a great tour of a city with a huge amount of history. Ian, our tour guide, had a great sense of humour and was hugely knowledgeable about the city and the activities which went on. Despite the weather (Story Darragh), he kept us all enthralled for 90 mins. Whilst you might think you see the history as you walk around, this tour pointed out the details you probably missed! Thanks Ian - and Merry Christmas!

A Highly Recommended Walking Tour - Booked this trip for my wife and I. The tour visited most of the old building in Canterbury and lasted for 90 minutes. The tour guide, Terry, was very knowledgeable and highly engaging. We both really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this tour. I would recommend that if visiting Canterbury for a few days, so this tour first as it will give you more ideas of places to visit in the city and help you get your bearings.

Canterbury….a real historic gem! - An interesting insight into the city. A very nice guide with a good sense of humour. One thing to watch for is that we stood near the cathedral for a long time in the cold, scrap up warm!!

The guide brought the... - The guide brought the stories alive with his theatrical presentation and wit. His knowledge of the history of the cathedral and of Canterbury was very impressive. While looking at the cathedral library he explained how close the cathedral had come to being destroyed by the German Luftwaffe and how the bombs had dropped to the East of the city. This helped to explain why the east end is so much more modern.
