- Ring of Beara - The Ring of Beara is a scenic drive around the Beara Peninsula, passing through some of the most colorful villages like Ardgroom, Eyeries, and Allihies, which look like they’re straight out of a fairy tale. Castletownbere is an excellent spot for lunch, offering the freshest seafood, almost straight from the boat. Although Healy Pass is not technically on the Ring, it is a must-see. Private tours can access this spectacular viewpoint, and there are many other beautiful places along the way, mostly accessible by passenger cars and vans.
- Molly Gallivan’s Cottage & Traditional Farm - Molly Gallivan’s cottage is a traditional and authentic old Irish site, almost like a museum of Irish folklore. Visiting feels like stepping back in time, a hundred years or more. Even the tea is served from a real fireplace.
- Healy Pass - This beautiful spot offers spectacular views of Kenmare Bay and Bantry Bay on either side of the peninsula. Below, you’ll find the charming Glanmore Lake with its rocky islands and idyllic farmlands.
- Derreen Gardens - Derreen Gardens is a mysterious land filled with little Derrinies and a variety of exotic plants, especially known for its large rhododendrons. It’s a beautiful place for a walk around cozy ponds in a rainforest-like setting.
- Uragh Stone Circle - Uragh Stone Circle is uniquely situated between two lakes with a spectacular view of Gleninchaquin Waterfall. This impressive monument features the tallest stone standing 10 feet above the ground, with another 10 feet likely underground. The central stone was once an altar for sacrifices, possibly including humans.
- Allihies Copper Mine Museum - Copper mining in Allihies dates back to 1812. By 1845, the mines had reached their peak, employing around 1,600 people. The mines and the local area suffered after the potato famine, but they continued operating until 1962.

Best tour I've done - Fantastic not a rigid tour Peter our guide took us to extra stops let us spend as much time as we wanted at all locations. Peter is very knowledgeable

Lovely, Wild Ireland! - The Ring of Beara can only be accessed by the boldest of drivers...or in our case, Piotr! The weather was just as wild and untamed as the landscape. Piotr allowed for a customized tour, so we focused on stone circles, a visit to Castletownbere, a cable car to Dursey Island and a meal stop at Allihies. This was by far the highlight of our trip! Piotr was an excellent guide and provided great insight into the history, flora, and fauna of Ireland. I would highly recommend this private tour with Piotr!

We had a fantastic day.... - We had a fantastic day. Our guide, Peter, was fantastic and gave us ample time to see the sights and enjoy different areas of the ring. He was very considerate of our 7 year old son and customized our tour to fit our needs. We can’t recommend this tour enough.

Grand - Uragh Stone Circle is one of the most mystical places I've come across. The photo does not do it justice Situated between two lakes, surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of volcanic mountains facing the sea on the Northern shore of the fabulous Beara Peninsula, it must have inspired Neolithic people with awe and reverence. I'm surprised it was not replaced by an early Christian church.

Best day in Ireland - The best experience in my life. Absolutely fabulous tour guide with exceptional knowledge about Ireland. Tour with Peter was the best day of my holidays, we saw a lot of wonderful places and we had a really, really great day.
Must have for everyone visiting Ireland.
Highly recommended.

Great Ring of Beara Guide - Peter met my wife and I at our Kenmare hotel and he was very accommodating to make sure we made sufficient stops for scenic viewing and pictures. Peter also repeatedly said that we could make any stop along the route. He is knowledgeable about the area and can cover history in as much depth as desired. He made sure to take the time to drive carefully since much of the road is very narrow. The sites of the coastline are fantastic with very little traffic compared to other Ring tours. If you’re looking for little crowds and fantastic camera opportunities, this is your tour!

Simply beautiful - I love the fact that tour busses can’t drive the Beara. No crowds, quiet beauty. The roads could be a little rough at times but worth the trip.

Wonderful private tour of Ring of Beara - We had a private tour of The Ring of Beara. Peter was our guide and did a fantastic job. He is very pleasant and full of information and taylored the day to what we wanted. We had four adults in our group and were very comfortable in his van.

Great stories and beautiful views! - We took a tour along the Ring of Beara with our friends and it was an absolute highlight of our vacation in Ireland. The area was unbelievably beautiful, rich in historical landmarks and we wouldn't discover even half of them if not for our driver - Peter. He knew the story of every village, lake, island and ruin along the way. In the beginning we planned to visit this region on our own but I am so glad that we didn't! I definitively recommend this tour and the guide (+ you can let go of the stress of driving on the "other" side of the road :))
