- Waterfront Park - We stroll through this beautiful lakeside park and discuss its influence on Kelowna over the last 30 years.
- The Innovation Centre - On weekdays, we visit the rooftop patio for breathtaking photos when it’s open. From April 15th to October 15th each year, our groups can enjoy a 360-degree view of Downtown Kelowna.
- Kasugai Japanese Garden - The secluded Kasugai Gardens are named after Kelowna’s sister city in Japan. Filled with Koi, waterfalls, Japanese sculptures, and pristine gardens! There’s plenty to see and learn here! The park is open from mid-March to mid-October.
- The Stuart Park - A stunning lakeside park dedicated to a renowned mayor. Here, we will hear the tale of the bear in Kelowna and how our magnificent boardwalk was created.
- BNA Brewing Co. - This historic two-story brick building is now the uniquely charming BNA! The owner is a fan of Northwest Canada and The Tragically Hip. The venue features its own brewery, a 10-pin bowling alley, a bocce court, a vintage arcade, a burger bar, an Airstream trailer, and much more! It’s a favorite stop for our guests!
- Chaibaba - Our hidden gem on the tour! Often, we have to coax people out of this loose leaf tea house, as the aroma, ambiance, and tranquility are captivating! A place you won’t soon forget and will likely return to repeatedly! Just like us :)
- Sprout Bread - Sprout is a local, family-owned and operated artisan bakery. Located in the historic and vibrant Cultural District in Kelowna.
Owners Pete and Ava opened the doors in August 2018, and three weeks later, they were married and welcomed friends and family to celebrate in the newly completed bakery space. From there, there was no looking back! Sprout quickly became a community hub that brought people together, centered around one thing – good food and coffee.
They offer a wide variety of food and baked goods! Sprout aims to highlight the incredible natural abundance of the Okanagan while collaborating with farmers and suppliers to bring local flavors to the community.
All of the breads are made with certified organic flour. Among other health benefits, organic farming practices require thoughtful crop rotation and ensure greater biodiversity for the land.
When guests visit, they love watching the bakers at work, the welcoming atmosphere, and, of course, the exceptional food and coffee!
- Curious Cafe - A favorite stop on every tour! The stop includes wood-fired pizza from an apple-shaped forno oven from Naples, Italy. The cafe is owned by Luigi Coccaro and features a hidden speakeasy and garden patio that we show guests as well :)
- El Taquero - Tacos, Tequila & Catering - Guests are treated here by Chef and Owner Izzy, who offers a modern twist on his mother and grandmother’s recipes straight from Mexico City! Bring your appetite and enjoy more fresh margaritas!
