• Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Begin your journey from a centrally located Nairobi hotel at approximately 6am for a scenic three-and-a-half-hour morning drive through verdant tea and coffee plantations. The first stop on this small group tour is the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This sanctuary was established through a collaboration between the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the Kenya Wildlife Service, and the Jane Goodall Institute, providing a permanent haven for orphaned and mistreated chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. Currently, the sanctuary houses over 30 chimpanzees in natural enclosures. During the visit, guests will learn about the resident chimpanzees and have the opportunity to observe them as they approach a feeding platform. Following this, enjoy a game drive across the expansive plains of the nearby Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The reserve is home to reticulated giraffes, zebras, African elephants, cape buffalo, warthogs, lions, leopards, and a diverse array of over 500 bird species. Lunch is available at your own expense.
