• Lake Nakuru National Park - The driver will collect you at 7:00 AM to head to Lake Nakuru National Park, a small shallow alkaline lake ranging from 5 to 30 square kilometers, located on the outskirts of Nakuru town, approximately 160 kilometers north of Nairobi. This lake is renowned globally for hosting the largest bird spectacle on earth, with countless fuchsia pink flamingos, often numbering over a million, possibly two. The park is home to over 25 rhinos, one of the largest populations in the country, offering a good chance of spotting these magnificent creatures. Additionally, there are several Rothschild’s giraffes, relocated for their safety from western Kenya since 1977. Waterbucks are abundant, with both Kenyan species present. Predators such as lions and leopards, the latter being increasingly sighted recently, also inhabit the park.
