Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lake
Charyn Canyon - This tour is perfect for those who wish to savor local cuisine in a village, explore the diverse landscapes of a desert canyon, and hike along a stunning mountain lake all in one day! Charyn Canyon, a 12-million-year-old natural wonder, is composed of intricate sedimentary rocks. Kolsai Lake acts as a natural mirror, reflecting the majestic beauty of the Tien Shan mountains.
8:00 - Depart from the hotel to Charyn Canyon (230km), approximately 2.5 hours
9:30 - The journey passes through an open-air market. There is an opportunity to stop for snacks or water.
10:00 – Arrive at the canyon. A 2.5 km walk inside the canyon is available, with the return route being the same. An open-air car is also an option.
12:30 - Depart for Kolsai Lake.
14:00 - Lunch at the guesthouse, with a panoramic view of Black Canyon.
15:30-17:00 - Visit Kolsai Lake
18:00 - Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.
