The trip spans 250 kilometers (approximately 4.5 hours) through the diverse landscapes of southeastern Kazakhstan, showcasing rural life, expansive steppe plains, and stunning mountain views along the route.
The first stop is the legendary Singing Dune. This enormous sand formation stands 150 meters tall — equivalent to a 50-story building. In dry conditions, the dune “sings,” emitting a deep, resonant sound akin to the hum of an organ or a jet engine. This rare natural occurrence was once studied by Soviet scientists and continues to captivate visitors today.
- Aktau Mountains - The next destination is the Aktau Mountains (around 2.5 hours away). These remarkable, multi-colored formations are remnants of an ancient ocean floor, where fossils of prehistoric creatures can still be discovered.
A lunch break will be taken in a nearby village, allowing guests to relax before continuing the tour.
