• Akagera National Park - Morning: A 5-hour game drive will take place in the southern section of the park, with a lunch break at Mahindi coffee shop. Afternoon: A 2 to 3-hour game drive will proceed to the northern part of the park, including a 20-minute pause before exiting.

Located in eastern Rwanda, adjacent to the Tanzanian border, Akagera National Park is notable for its mix of woodlands, swamps, low-lying mountains, and savannah landscapes. This diverse environment hosts a range of wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, elephants, and lions, along with hundreds of bird species such as the infrequently seen shoebill stork. The enormous Lake Ihema in the park’s southern region serves as a habitat for hippos and crocodiles.
