Kayak and hike - We had an awesome time with Harrison as our guide. It was a muddy mess after the rain they had but it was a great way to start the New Year off right. Harrison was very knowledgeable of the history and nature. I would highly recommend this tour with your family. Dry bag was provided, lunch was yummy, I would recommend not wearing anything white and wear closed toe shoes you don’t mind ruining just incase it’s super muddy.

Kayaking was beautiful. ... - Kayaking was beautiful. After getting used to it we did okay as we had very little experience kayaking. The guide Harrison was very friendly and knowledgeable and did warn us about how muddy the hike would be due to all the rain so we knew what we were getting into. It was actually less than expected. Good footwear or water shoes are a must. We bought some at Walmart for $10 and they were perfect. The hike through the forest area was slippery at points but everyone took there time and no falls or injuries. The waterfall was fantastic, no cell service there it was so peaceful. Really enjoyed this experience.

Great day adventure in Kauai! - Lindsey was a great guide! A dry bag was provided for our things (thankfully no mishaps!) and it was a nice day on the water and a beautiful hike! Good exercise but not super strenuous.

Exceptional Time on Wailua River - The river was beautiful, the trip there and back just the right amount of time spent paddling, our time at the waterfall was serene, and Lindsey was an exceptional tour guide. We learned so much from her, she took some photos for us, as our phones were tucked away safely in our dry bags, and paced everything perfectly.

Great use of a day on Kauai - be ready to be active - It is an excellent use of a day on Kauai, if you want to experience something natural and active. It would be easy for people to underestimate the level of activity involved... it is a pretty active outing. The hiking trail is not overly strenuous, but it is challenging due to mud, rocks, roots etc. But fun ! Our guide Lindsey was a great partner on the trip. Very informative, and really engaging and fun. Just the right level of interaction, and conversation.

Beautiful and fun - Our guide was Harrison. Very nice guy. The kayaking wasn't as hard as I anticipated. What surprised me was how slow we were. We were definitely the caboose! H was patient with us. The hike was muddy! They said it would be muddy. It. Was. Muddy! I'm surprised I only fell once. It was beautiful too. I loved the plant life and I loved feeding the bird a worm. That was fun. The falls were gorgeous. Yes there was lunch but it was just a sandwich and a cookie -- just setting the expectations. Don't plan on much of a lunch. It was a great experience. Glad we went. It wasn't as physical as I had anticipated. If two out of shape almost retired people can do it then it's not so bad, eh? We were slow but we made it through ok. And the pineapple at the end was heavenly! Thanks again for helping make great memories :-)
