Fun day paddle boarding to the not so secret falls - What a fun day. Soany people did the kayaks and were complaining about there backs hurting. We were so glad we did the paddle boards. The river is calm accept when the boats go by and you can totally sit or kneel when they go by. Just when you get tired you are there and ready for the hike to the incredible falls. Our family consisted of myself, my husband and our three daughters 18, 15 and 12.

Great adventure - We paddle boarded out and back. The return trip was harder due to wind but still totally doable. If you’re unsure the kayaks are easier.

Great Experience - Great experience. Employee super helpful, and they provide foam and straps to attach to car. Just a heads up tho, if you plan to do Wailua River to Secret Falls, there is an admission fee for the state park ($10 per vehicle and $5 per person). Boards were a little beat up, but it's a rental so it's to be expected. Did not affect how the board floated and moved. Rental was for all day, but river only took us about 4 hours, give or take. River moves very slow though, so be prepared to paddle the entire time as there is not a noticeable current either direction. 10/10 experience though.

Do it - The most relaxed way to do the secret falls trail. The trail is amazing beautiful and fun, and the river section is a bit more challenging on a paddle board, but with the extra space and ability to stand up its a more relaxed and chill experience. I highly recommend

Amazing! Definitely recommend! - It was amazing and easy to navigate to the waterfall. If you are in shape I recommend paddle boards because kayak tours have so many slow people you’ll have to wait for on the tour. If your teenagers like to swim they can jump off whenever! So much fun!

A Great Family Adventure - This was a really fun experience. You travel the Waialua River to a beautiful landing spot where you get out and hike to Secret Falls. We enjoyed that it was a self guided tour so we could go at our own pace! We are pretty avid hikers from Utah and this was one of our favorite hikes of all time! Make sure you bring plenty of water at least two bottle per person. Also we strongly recommend some good hiking shoes or hiking sandals the trail gets pretty muddy and you do cross the river a couple of times. It will take you every bit of 4 hours to make this trip up, hike, and come back. I would recommend trying to do this first thing in the morning as parking is a little difficult. We fortunately did not have e to wait on long but it it is possible you will be waiting for a while depending on when people go up. The lot is small. Also parking (when we went 4/3/26) was $5 per person. When paddling to the hike you are going with the current is it is a little easier than coming out. We also had the wind kick up which made coming out even tricker. The SUP company was awesome they made sure we knew how to load the paddle boards and exactly were to go. They were very friendly and helpful!

Montana guy - River is calm. There were quite a few people on the river and trail. Scenery is beautiful and lush. The waterfall itself is not the biggest but still quite nice. Of course that is coming from a spoiled perspective as we come from an area with many large beautiful falls. Boards were a little worn and could use new bungees but worked well. All in all a fairly good time with beautiful scenery.

Double charged!!! - Charged for 2 and then they cancelled on us and didn’t refund both and now it is impossible to get ahold of anyone at all. Phone number doesn’t work, chat doesn’t work and no email.
